There were a few negatives about Newegg Business. Dealing with returns can be a bit of a hassle. While they do have a 30 day money back guarantee, you are often responsible for the return shipping plus a restocking fee depending on the item. Restocking fees may not apply to all items, and you find more information on the page dedicated to returns and restocking on the Newegg Business website. The other thing to consider is that Newegg Business doesn’t carry every model of every brand. While they do have thousands of items in their inventory, you may have to buy a few things from another vendor if Newegg Business doesn’t carry it.

Big question: what’s the major benefit between shopping with Newegg Business or regular Newegg? Just the Bizpoint rewards? It confuses the consumer. I’m a business owner and when making a business purchase I just want to get the same benefits Newegg would have to offer to businesses regardless of whether its from Newegg Business or regular Newegg. A purchase on a business bank account is business regardless of whether its procured from one place or the other. Maybe instead of separating Newegg between general consumer and business consumer by web domain location/user accounts , it should be determined by user input after registering as a business account(i.e. if your newegg account has business feature turned on when logged in, when making a purchase being asked: “is this a business expense or personal expense”?). This would make it MUCH easier and integrate business expenses right into good old Newegg, instead of requiring the user to register a separate newegg business acct
I have been buying IT hardware for 25 years, many of which with Newegg consumer and have only good thing to say about them. But Newegg Business is like a different company, and second only to Ingram Micro in terms of being bad … overcharges, loss of tax exempt status, no email responses, clueless customer service etc,etc … list goes on.
