Bought a switch paid an extra 25$ for express shipping didnt show up on the expected date tried to contact costumer support several times and havent been able to get a hold of anyone turns out they sent my package from fort worth tx to Memphis tn to tucson az wasting an entire few days to get here called fed ex to find out what was going on with my package to figure out why its in my town and not being delivered and they said it was put on a 3 day hold and cant be delivered until the 6th i bought it on the 30 of December I understand it not delivering on the holiday but there is no excuse for it being in my town and not being delivered because gamestop said so i already bought it just deliver my product this is definitely the last time i ever shop with gamestop and recommend everyone stops shopping there
Congrats Gamestop.com. First company that has ever screwed up so bad I am writing a bad review. Worst online shopping experience I have ever endured. Order was placed on December 9th. I get that it was Christmas and COVID delayed shipping dates. But my order was not delayed, it was lost and did not get to a very disappointed child Christmas morning. I have sent three emails as they direct you to do when you need to contact them. All three went unanswered. I had to search for a customer service number to which after 45 minutes, I was promised a replacement within 3 to 5 business days. I asked for a confirmation number which she did no have but said I would get an email with that info. Three days later, no email. I call back to where I was put on hold for 30 minutes. At the 30 minute mark the phone switched from music to ringing just to be hung up on. I called the third time on the 31st and was told they would process a replacement and I needed to wait another 3 to 5 business days before they can even provide any info on tracking info. At this rate we are not going to get her Xmas present by Feb!! I call back one final time to where I was told by the automated teller that no on is available to discuss online orders. I have to sneak in through different options to get a live person to tell them I’m over this and want a refund. I was told I could not receive a refund because the replacement was already in process but could not give me any info. Told me I would get an email. Guess what I didn’t get. I had to cancel the order through my credit card. And while i’m being told how busy and backed up they are and that there online automated response is telling you there is no one available to help with the order, when I snuck around different prompts and got a human. They were having a office party and were carrying on loud enough i had to ask the person who answered if I had in fact reached a place of business. His reply was he could hear me fine. Didn’t matter i could barely hear him. I’m officially done with Game Stop. They have 0 customer service skills.
Ordered on 12.11.20. Website stated to order on this date to have items arrive on Christmas. I chose ground shipping with dates being 18th-22nd. It’s the 23rd and they finally shipped. I also was not able to use the $5 monthly coupon on my order.
People read the review before you use them. Customer Service who you have to call with issues are in the Philippines and they care less about your issues. Tried calling corporate and no one answers and when you leave a message they don’t call you back. This business can care less about the people that pay their salaries which is the consumers BOYCOTT THEIR STORES THEY DONT CARE ABOUT YOU !!!!
My brother.for.his birthday got a gift card to game stop and the lady was so mean she was like you really can’t get.this.her.without a adolt and need a id and.my other brother had one he did not so the lady said “I know it is.for him not you if you don’t have a I’d on you you can get.out and.my brother was mad ? because you know he really wanted this game for his birthday and this never happened to me and him before me and him got one together
friendly staff, reasonables prices, and they put plushies (and other merch I imagine) on hold. What more could you ask for?
So I’ve had 8 awful experiences with is company in the last 3 months. I purchased a used PS4 controller and got some mishmash of random third party parts that part of didn’t work. Took 3 phone calls and 2 months to get it sorted out.Ended up with a really crappy controller that at least worked. Worst customer service ever. Then bought a new controller and accedently clicked the wrong store for pickup (my fault). Called immediately after checkout. Like within 60 seconds. It has been one month today and still have not gotten a refund for the controller I never had after 5 phone calls. That doesn’t include the 2 calls I got disconnected from after 15 minutes on hold. Don’t shop here. The only goal of the customer service is to get you off the phone as quickly as possible. Just truly awful.
