Is Expedia Legit?
Expedia is a legit website that has developed a strong relationship with its partners over the years, ensuring that it is always able to offer its members incredible deals on travel, be it for business or pleasure.
Not only does Expedia claim to be the cheapest place to book flights and hotels online, the company is willing to back up that promise with a Best Price Guarantee.
If you find a better price on the same hotel, ticket or car reservation within 24 hours of booking it on Expedia, they’ll refund you the difference and give you a $50 coupon for future use. That kind of confidence in their ability to deliver the lowest price should serve as the ultimate reassurance for anyone who doubts that they are a legitimate travel site.
Is Expedia a Trustworthy Site?
Expedia has slowly but surely made a name for itself as one of the most trustworthy travel websites around over the years.
The company has increased the number of hotels and airlines that it works consistently, as well as built up a clientele that includes millions of individual members.
All of this adds up to one simple fact that cannot be denied: Expedia has proven that it can be trusted by travelers to provide them with a safe and secure trip at a reasonable cost.
Pros: Expedia Review
One of the perks about Expedia.com is that they offer customer’s access to Seat Pinpointer during the purchase process, according to the many Expedia reviews. Seat Pinpointer is available on any purchased itinerary.
If the airline has made the seating chart available to Expedia.com, Seat Pinpointer will display seating information on the flights in your itinerary. This allows customers to request a particular seat in cases where no charts are available.
Expedia.com will send customers a request with seating preferences to the airline for you. In this way, customers are always able to choose between getting a window seat or an aisle seat.

Is Expedia Reliable to Book Flights & Hotels?
With more than 15 years in the business, this company has earned its reputation as a friend to travelers in all the corners of the world to be reliable.
Expedia works with more than 400,000 hotels and over 400 airlines so that they can bring their members the absolute lowest prices on tickets and lodgings around the globe.
Cons: Expedia Review
There are some negatives that are mentioned in the Expedia reviews right now.
When you book with Expedia.com verify that reservation with the hotel, airlines, etc. that you got exactly what you booked. This is advised with other online booking websites as well.
Also, even though Expedia.com grants customers the opportunity to access and search a system used by travel agents worldwide, this access doesn’t ensure that you will always be able to find a fare that has been listed in a newspaper, advertised on television, featured on another website, or one that another customer has received.

Is it Safe to Book on Expedia?
Expedia is safe to use and will do everything in their power to ensure the security of their members.
Not only do they protect all of your private details by using the most up-to-date security programs on their site, they also keep an eye out for scams and unsafe lodging conditions at the hotels that they list on their website.
This means that Expedia is actually considered safer than booking your reservations through any other online means available today.
Is Expedia Total Protection Plan Worth It?
Anyone who has ever had to cancel a trip at the last moment can tell you that Expedia Trip Protection is well worth it. Expedia has a variety of policies to cover you in the event that your trip doesn’t go according to plan, from a trip cancellation to lost luggage or a damaged rental car. This type of protection is an imperative in today’s world and the fact that Expedia makes it so easy and cost-effective to book travel insurance at the same time that you book your trip means there’s simply no good reason not to purchase it.

Expedia is a legalized scam.
Expedia never accepts negative review. Honestly its like scam. Why do they have so many websites?
Their customer service is so bad. I was emailing with them to figure out a solution for a flight that I was listed as a no-show for. I got an email from a different person for every single email and at the end of the chain, when they weren’t able to help me, they didn’t offer alternative or even ask the typical “is there anything else we can help you with?” Type of question. Their links are broken on mobile version of their website. Further more I once worked at a hotel and I’ll tell you what: Expedia stands out from all the rest in requiring tedious extra steps to enter their reservations, which is probably why it is so hard to get them to fix issues with reservations.
I couldn’t fly in May 19 due to illness (been diagnosed with cancer and started to chemos) the travel insurance I purchased at the same time when purchasing the ticket, refused to give refund saying that chemos are pre-arranged!!! Then approached to Expedia, they got in touch with KLM, they come back said KLM only offered to change the dates and the dates should be exact length. I then got in touch with KLM myself and explained the situation. They authorised the refund and also sent me a voucher as an apology but as I purchased the ticket through Expedia they said the Expedia should got in touch with them and ask for refund. I got in touch with Expedia, told them this is the case, this is the case ID, they only need to get in touch with KLM and provide my medical document and ask for refund. Expedia did have my medical documents in pdf form which I sent to them in May 19 but by Aug 19 they asked for it again. I was at the hosp so I could only find the documents on the e-mail trail and sent over to them again in Sept 19. Now is almost October and the refund still couldn’t be paid over to me. Obviously through this experience I understood that Expedia is good to search flights but if there is any problem, its a great hassle to get refund or even to get in touch with them as you can easily become like a tennis ball and could be sent from one side to the otherside.
