I bought over 1500. In clothes plus paid a huge amount in duty. I was supposed to get Diva Dollars for all that I spent. I asked many times but I never received anything. They kept giving me excuses but no Diva Dollars. I’m so pissed about how little they care.
I ordered boots to Canada and it was over two months before I received them. The sizing was completely off , both pairs are massive. I paid 20$ to ship to Canada and was dinged $69 at the door and my boots only cost $84 dollars. They do not have any communication with customs and do not use NAFTA . I paid more for them to get to me then the boots were worth!
Ashley Stewart is a good store but needs a few changes in order to take over the plus size market.
I ordered online items and was very disappointed
When I received my items, everything was awful. The jeans were way too big, all of the pants were too long. Wrong sizes were sent. I spent over 150.00, and and that is the last monies you all will ever get from me. I will never order from your store again. Nothing looked as it did in the online pictures.
I ordered from Ashley Stewart and just received my first order yesterday. I found some cute clothes that I haven’t been able to find other places online or in brick and mortar stores. I had no issues, I ordered two (2) jackets/blazers both are “vegan” leather and fit perfectly. I ordered a top and some pants with more vegan leather accents on the legs spent less than $120 on all that I couldn’t do that anywhere else, albeit there was a 40% off sale. I had a great experience ordering online and getting the merchandise. I do not have a store near me and before ordering I’d never hear of Ashley Stewart. I am not saying I can’t or won’t have a bad experience, I just didn’t have one during this order. I will order more from them again.
I just received 3 pairs of size 9 sandals from Ashley Stewart. I wear an 81/2 and usually buy a 9 for extra space. One pair DID NOT fit at ALL! My toes were sticking off the front part of the shoe. MISS 1. The second pair was too big! My husband said my legs looked like a straw in a glass and I am not a small woman! These were the gladiator sandals with the heel. The foot part fit but the leg part was toooo baggy and there was no was to tighten this specific pair. MISS 2. The third pair were flat gladiators with a tie string in the front. These fit great! The foot part was perfect and the leg partwas as well because it was adjustable with thw string. Overall i probably won’t be shopping here again. I can’t say I’m surprised because their clothing looks cheap online. I bought the sandals because my sister told me they made good stuff, which was clearly a lie. I hope the returns process is easier in store.
I am finding since i have continued to shop with AS over the years the clothes are of a cheaper quality 🙁
I purchase a few things such as belts, tops and boots that seem to be of a lesser quality then what I thought it should be.
For instance, I have a lacey black jacket that i bought that is light and could be worn as a dress up or down jacket, a zipper was added to jacket so rough that it eating up the inside of sleeve on the jacket. Smh!!!
The entire jacket looks great all over except for the inside of the sleeves….
I purchased a chain link belt which i decided to wear 2 mos after purchase, before I can get out the door good, one of the chains came a lose!!! I was able to fix it back, but you sell plus size clothing things like that should be made with a reinforcement to make the plus size customers feel comfortable and secure with all their items. However, I never wore the belt out scared that i would be embarrased, smh.!!!
I am a long time customer for AS and from the beginning the clothes the store sold was made with such better quality.
I’ve been doing business with Ashley Stewart for years but unfortunately this will be my last time. There are constant delays with their online orders. What really upset me is they have items listed, I decide to make a purchase, then I have to wait sometimes nearly 2 weeks for them to notify me of shipment, and ALWAYS the order is NEVER complete with the things I order. I order a complete outfit, you know; shirt, pants, jacket, matching hat….what in the hell can I do with just the shirt Ashley Stewart??? You have cancelled the rest of my order saying it’s not in stock but I go to your website and the items are still listed? Which is it? The right thing to do would be to at least notify the customer that you’re not going to send items ordered so that they can determine if they want to cancel the entire order before you ship out one shirt it’s just ridiculous to just send out a shirt and not the entire order. I’m done, never again!

Order four items on Monday (CYBER MONDAY) 11/27/17 at 11:00AM. Today is 121/7/17 I’ve sent three emails from my personal email account, 2 Facebook messages and 2 inquiries from within the Ashley Stewart Online Ordering portal. Still no package and no responses to any of my inquiries regardless the platform used. I hate to give up this credit card…but this is not the only problem I’ve had with them…JUST THE WORSE!!
They are a scam. Did a bait and switch on me and refused to honor the coupon they said they had.
Their customer service is AWFUL. With all the online places to shop, this is one to run away from! I should have heeded the reviews I saw before I tried to shop with them!
Has anyone noticed that the quality is not the same? I have always shopped Ashley Stewards and when I compare the material that they are now using I am disappointed.
I ordered the Plunge Butterfly bra. It fit well, but after about half an hour of wearing it, the under-wire broke. Because I was being stabbed with the wire and was not somewhere that I could take the bra off and store it, I had no choice but to throw it away. After sever attempts to contact and be refunded for a $50 bra that was worn once for less than an hour, I was told unless I could send back the bra, there was nothing they would do. End of story. The customer service was horrible. Response time was horrible, it took almost a week to be told there was nothing they would do. I will not shop with this company again.
Ashley Stewart is expensive for no reason. everything is very hit or miss. clothing falls apart rather easily. stick to t-shirts and simple items if you want nice things. they use horrible material, and nothing ever looks like it does online when you receive it in person. I now have brand new clothing and three out of ten items are falling apart. go to torrid or lane bryant if you want nice quality garments. Ashley is not the way! what gives!!!
I purchased three items and was not satisfied. The dress was clearly oversized and was irreraglular which is probably why it was clearance. Both shoes I purchased was not my size either again another clearance item. I was told I was stuck with the items because they where clearance and have lost $130 and I did next day shipping. I will never purchase anything else from Ashley Stewart. Sorry for them because I was going every two weeks buying items. Terriable policy!
First time buyer from Ashley’s I purchased 1 swim suit, tank top, skirt, dress, and blazer everything was oversized and didn’t quite look as pictured. Very disappointed.

I have had similar experiences at Ashley Stewart where if you buy clearance items, you can’t return them. It is correct that
a lot of their clothing is cheaply made. The bras fit terribly. The cups are huge and then if you go a size down they are too small. Who ever designs their bras need to go back to the drawing board and learn how to make them fit better. So turned off by them. They are constantly losing customers and there is one in my area but I will not shop there again.
First time ordering from Ashely Stewart. Some good some bad. The peep toe fringe bootie fit perfectly. Love it. The fringe boot the calf part too big and I’m worried it’ll fall down. And fringe heel was suppose to be W width it was not. I got my stuff during a great sale a lot of it was 50% off sadly they don’t do exchanges? What a rip off. So if i want to try a smaller or bigger size shoe I have to return it get credit at the 50% sale price then order and pay for different size and pay full price?! Or not as good sale as I orginally got the item for? Crappy policy. I was so excited to find this website. The clothes looked up to date and the shoes looked sexy, finally high heels in bigger sizes! I hope they get better. Lane Bryant, most of the time has the ugliest and unflattering and out to date clothes there is.
I agree with you. Cheap, Cheap, Cheap. Low quality. I am searching to purchase from another store. I can’t keep giving money to a store, that is providing a lower quality of products. I am done especially with this last purchase. Swish, swish when walking in my pants, high levels of polyester mixed in the fabric. They sell thin polyester clothes for the upcoming fall winter season…..come on now! AS will not be getting any more of the money. The only things that I really purchased was pants only. The other clothes were too cheap to purchase. I got away with the career pants. Sad, sad….. AS knows their target market and think they can treat this market any kind of way. POOR QUALITY OF CLOTHES. 🙁
