THEY’RE ERRATIC: Customer service encounters range from pleasant to hair-pulling experiences. They sometimes use slippery and very contradictory language, promise imaginary discounts, ignore messages altogether, etc. (And they do this to a customer who’s purchasing 50-60 of their seats per month!). THEY’RE DISORGANIZED: They list same seats on multiple sites and sometimes forget/fail to remove other listings when tickets are sold. This happened to me but fortunately I noticed the active sales (at the other sites), notified them and they corrected it. Any time this may happen and they sell the same seat on multiple sites — someone is going to be shut out of an event! I wouldn’t want to be the person who planned for and traveled to an event only to be shut out – and their refund would only cover the ticket, not the travel. FINAL NOTE: At times it can be very frustrating dealing with them, especially when they drop the ball and simultaneously keep reasserting their desire to be helpful while at the same time not being responsive at all. Do as we do and BUY WITH CAUTION! 1) We stick to actual seats owned by venuekings because it eliminates the added risks of tickets that they may have received from others. 2) After purchase, we check other sites (ie: StbHub) and if the same seats are still listed, alert venuekings so they can remove. 3) Limit telephone contact to a minimum, (and verify everything they say if you can). 4) If time permits, use email — but it’s a coin-toss getting a meaningful answer in writing.
