A common complaint we must mention in this Card.com review is that the company can have delays with their shipments.
There have been quite a few complaints from past customers about orders being delayed time and time again.
A few individuals even mentioned having to call Carid.com only to find out that their items will be delayed once again.
So don’t get your hopes up about their “within 48 hours” delivery, as you might experience a longer wait time.
Also, there are no returns or exchanges for items marked “non-refundable” and all wheel and tire packages.

Like many online companies they will say/do anything to make the sale, but after that you can
forget any further customer service. I was offered the choice of using either FedEx or UPS to ship my 4 wheels. I wanted UPS since I had had previous troubles with FedEx. So, naturally, they shipped my order FedEx! Then they shipped my mounting kit to some address in SC, when I live in MO.!! When I tried to contact the person who sold me the wheels, he simply didn’t return any of the 3 messages I left for him. Great customer service. NOT!!!
CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AN ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE! I WOULD GIVE THEM 0 STARS IF I COULD, STAY FAR AWAY FROM CARID. I purchased a set of headlights for my vehicle from CARiD in January 2023 for a total of $574.50. The headlights did not work with my vehicle as advertised so I returned the items to CARiD. On April 6th 2023 I was informed that the refund has been approved but when they tried to refund my credit card it would not go through, can they send a physical check. The refund did not go through as the credit card I used to purchase the headlights was compromised and was issued a new card sometime between January and April 2023. I responded on April 10th 2023 that a check would be fine for the amount of $574.50 payable to myself. April 11th Carid responded and asked me to allow 2 days for them to process and 3 to 5 days for delivery of the check, which I did. On April 21st I emailed Carid asking for a status update of the refund and the check which their response to this email and everyone after was to allow 72 hours. I waited again then emailed requesting information on the status of my refund on May 1st again on May 9th again on May 22nd and called again today all with the same response of allow 72 hours. They have been in possession of the headlights and my $574.50 since the end of March and they still have not issued the check of $574.50. This is only half of the issue, I’m not even going to get into the first set of headlights that I purchased and denied a refund as these also did not work with my vehicle as advertised. I had to rewire the wiring harness to make them work with no assistance from Carid. I was actually told “good luck with your broken headlights” from the supervisor.
I highly recommend to not use Carid (Partsid). I generally never have a bad time with companies, but this is something out of a movie. I ordered a set of bumpers on February 9th, they charged me a crazy amount for shipping (I was willing to pay given I live in a remote location). After I had already paid, and the order got delayed repeatedly, they asked me to pay them even more for shipping…I declined and asked for a refund back, simple enough.
Of course, I was told that the refund would be issued in 24-72 hours no big deal. As of today, I am now over 50 days of waiting for my refund for a part that never even got shipped. The staff in outstandingly rude. I requested numerous times to get an explanation outside of “please wait 24-72 hours for an update” that they never send anyways, I requested manager call backs numerous times and it never happened, in fact one staff member stated that I need to just stop asking, wait and to STOP requesting manager call back because its “pointless”.
Over and over its excuse after excuse. It’s a different answer every time. Now I am being told that a check is being sent to me June 1st, and that I should receive it by June 30th. For a refund that was submitted on March 27th.
I promise you; you do not want to use them. It is a completely ridiculous company. I quite literally started searching around to see if Carid was a scam. Use extreme caution, I would honestly use other companies even if its more expensive because carid will fraud you out of your money if there is an issue with an order.
Unreal is all I have to say now.
Worst company I have ever dealt with. Bought a bug shield for my bran new truck. They assured me it would fit when I talked with a representative. It didn’t fit. Holes didn’t line up. I have a round hole on my truck hood. The attachment was square. I called to return it. They said they needed pictures which I sent. They needed more pictures and told me I would have to pay return shipping and restocking fee a total of $27.90 on a $67 item. Since I talked to them before ordering I don’t feel it is my fault that it didn’t fit my truck. They told me it would take 24 to 48 hours to talk to a manager. They were very difficult to deal with and kept insisting on more pictures. Stay away from this company.!!!!!!
Before buying from them, the staff assured me that the goods are in stock and will be delivered to you within 3-5 working days,after you paid,I paid,a week later I was told that the goods were out of stock and would have to wait,I waited another 10 days and was told that the goods were sold out,they canceled my order, beware of this company, if you value your time and money, These are scammers
I needed calipers to drive my work truck. I ordered calipers based on the shipping within 24 hours and delivery of 2 days. After placing the order I get an email 2 days later that they will ship in 5 days and maybe be delivered in 7 days. My work truck is down for a week now. Beware of fraudulent delivery dates on their website!
Website was useless! Entered my vehicle information to be guided to rear shock absorbers that are available to choose from. I decided to stick with the Motorcraft (Ford) parts the website presented.
During the attempted installation it was found there was no way these would fit, despite their website & customer supports insistence they would fit.
I located the correct part/part number on parts.ford.com and compared to what CARiD.com selected. Not the same at all!
Also please note the parts delivered by CARiD.com had the correct stamped part number and sticker. Sounds like black market knock-offs to me. And deception! Beware!
Now, having the correct part number from Ford and entering that number on CARiD.com I was able to locate the true part (not using their filtering method).
Customer support fought back for hours asking for photos of the part I received and assured me they were correct! And that their supplier also assured they were correct! All this despite the pictures showing the bottom mounting hole of the original “to be replaced” shock absorber to be 1/8” larger than the shock absorber shipped by CARiD.com.
Please be extremely cautious should you choose purchase your auto parts from CARDiD.com. The hassle is absolutely not worth the increase of blood pressure!
These are the worse people to buy from On Ebay..They sell stuff they don’t even have, work on your money for weeks. Then it’s a fight to get it returned..Nvere but from these cheap China sources. .the parts are inferior and there service sucks..the Federal Trade Commission needs to step in on these crooks..
If I could go lower than 1 star I would. Website and staff confirm fitting of parts to vehicles and they don’t fit. Confirmed and ordered 2 separate parts for my vehicles after confirmed they were supposed to fit. They did not fit. Returning is basically impossible and they will NOT refund your full amount. I’ve lost $150 in parts that do not fit as they say they will. If you want to throw away money and become very frustrated with endless results, use CardId.

Has had my money since 2.25.22 and said product would ship immediately. Now my order can no longer be found. And the only answer you will receive is “Please wait for 24 to 72 hours for a response” and WEEKENDS don’t count.
This is why it’s been weeks and I haven’t cancelled. I know I’m an idiot for thinking each day I wake up that this company will get their sheot together and they aren’t just there to rip people off.
But that’s not the truth…the truth is they don’t give 2 sheots about their customers…just want the $$$.
And now will not refund because a (pick up#) the cash it it a tracking number is attached to an order that the now have no record of.
Carid.com is a HORRIBLE COMPANY! BE AWARE! These guys are a rip off. I bought a car product from them and after my master mechanic (certified) tried to install it, it did not work. He tested the product even. Tried to return it couple days after I got it from Carid.com and they would not let me even though they mailed me a broken product. I was told that I had to make a video of it not working to proof to them that it does not work, in order to return it. Consumers do not owe any company in the USA video production. Retailers such as Carid.com should not screw consumers over. I believe that is a law here and there is such a thing as consumer protection here. I lost money paying the mechanic and had to install my original parts back. I will never do business with this company and scam operation again.
I ordered some rims then one week after es told they wouldn’t work on my vehicle. The guy was rude about until I found another set I liked. They told me it was a special order I would have to wait 30 days. So I did. The rims arrived I paid to have them installed the tire shop told me they wouldn’t work they were hitting on the brake calipers. I called them. Then I was told to take pics to prove it so I did. There dilution was spacers tht would take another 3 to 4 weeks to come in. Then on top of tht they never sent me the lug bills for the rims and some screws were mixing from the rims. I caked them again. Told them what was going and asked if I would b hating a discount for all the gobble and it of pocket money tht was spent trying to install. They told me the spacers were compensation enough. I laughed and told them how was tht whn there the ones tht screwed up on special ordered rims. They told there was nothing else tht could b done. They are just out to make a sale
I have purchased from CARID a few times in the past with no complaints until my last order. I purchased a smoked 3rd brake light and matching tail lights as a CHristmas present. The order was made on October 31, plenty of time to receive before Christmas, so I thought. They split the order up into 2 shipments for whatever reasons. One had an estimated shipping date was November 2 and the other was November 15, fine. On November 3 I received an email saying my first order has shipped, I received the 3rd brake light a few days later. After unpacking the light I noticed that it is not tinted so I contacted customer support. They ask me to take several pictures and i did and sent them in an email. They tell me that I have the correct ones. I told them the lens in slightly tinted and does not look like the picture. They replied with the lights will not be visible if it was tinted. And dropped the case. I asked about the status my other package and was told estimated shipping date now is December 13. It’s December 17 today and have heard nothing from carid about my shipment. Now my Christmas gift now has an estimated ship date of January 13. And I had to contact them to get that info. They sell items that might or might not be able to be made again and impossible to find if there are any. MERRY F’n CHRISTMAS
once you buy a product they hold your money. say it dont fit. offer no refund or returns. pick something themselves that fit. send it to you when you dont want it anyways
I ordered 4 tires, 37×13.5×18 Nitto Ridge Grappler from CarID. I paid $120.00 for shipping! It totaled $2070. 00 after taxes and shipping. When I placed the order, they told me they had 5 in stock, they would get four of them sent right away for immediate shipping. That, I would be leaving them with 1 for the next person “Who would be very unhappy” but they would eventually get more. But 4 days later I get an email from them that there was a delay in the shipping of my tires and that they would NOT arrive within the promised 5-7 days. But they “Would be shipping SOON”! They shipped ONE TIRE AT A TIME. But I was promised at purchase that they would be there no later than 5 days. Unacceptable!
I immediately found SimpleTire online and ordered another set because they promised 3 days shipping and I had a deadline. Not only did I get the tires cheaper at SimpleTire, $1884. 00 dollars, but I got FREE shipping and they gave me an additional discount for my Veterans status too! AND I got my tires shipped directly to the tire shop by noon on the 3rd day! Exactly as they promised! Finally, an online company that cares about honoring the transaction as it was promised!
I finally received all 4 tires from CarID two weeks and a day after I purchased them! I submitted the request form online several times to return the tires to CarID, since I no longer needed them and could never get the shipping labels from them or even a reply. It took me calling them and speaking to a Rep to submit the form for me! The next day I get an email that the RETURN WILL COST $510.68! And it will be deducted from the refund! I am to reply if I want to return the tires at that shipping cost.
THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM!

there are way better companies out there. Carid is way overpriced, I would say don’t waste your time and money. I contacted them and they would just hang up on me when I asked legit questions about their shipping and their prices. Shop around don’t just go with these guys. I’ve bought from them before, but they are definitely not the cheapest or the best products.
Bought a dash cover from them. Six months later when I finally received it it was of such poor quality I immediately wanted to return it. It didn’t fit correctly either. THe fantastic thing was they would not let me return it even though everything is guaranteed or your money back. Please heed my warnings steer clear . There are better companies out there. Save yourself the hassle…
Ordered part, was wrong for my vehicle – here’s their “hassle free return policy”: take a photo to prove it, we’re charging $3 for the return and not paying for return shipping.
Purchased $800 worth of wheels and accessories on August 12, 2021.
Wheels did not fit and was sent lug nuts instead of lug bolts.
Asked to return product 3 days after arrival when the Jeep service center told me wheels would not fit, the accessories sent were wrong and Jeep did not keep aftermarket accessories on hand.
CARiD says they will send correct accessories needed.
Today is 23rd day of Sept. 2021. The spacers finally arrived. Still no lug bolts.
I am desperate for wheels and tires and need the $800 to proceed.

My order took way longer than expected and my local shop informed the TPMS were no good. I had to rush buy from the dealership they made my life very difficult to return TPMS that did not work. In fact they dont want to accept it back. Stay away from this company.
I ordered rims and tires for a 1995 honda accord on August 3rd 2021. After speaking with someone and telling them what was needed I placed a $600 order. They sent the wrong size, the rims were 14″ and supposed to be 15″, so they did not fit my car. I contacted the company immediately and now August 24th 2021 and three people later they are not willing to accept or fix the mistake they made. They will not return or refund the rims and tires. It has been a nightmare.
Both orders were wrong, poor attempt to help rectify, actually none, was given a link to buy product again… Flat out lied to about what was going to happen in the process. Was placed on hold so c.s. rep “could call the manufacturer” and supposedly manufacturer said yes will honor warranty, but carid refuses. Submitted second item for exchange and carid returned instead. First Product ordered is still under warranty but they refuse to honor the manufacturer warranty claiming product wasn’t sent, however I was never properly described the process and rules. Was told as a consumer it’s my responsibility to read and know the terms and agreements and to find them on the website.

Wow! Working with CARID’s customer service was a bit upsetting! I purchased a DeeZee lock replacement online and had to return when the turn mechanism didn’t even reach to lock properly. I went the easy route first: Chat. My first agent was Kathy. I got everything taken care of, but was being charged 15 dollars to return item. This was all the shipping to and from company. I paid 30 dollars!! I tried to ask why I wasn’t getting a full refund, since CARID, didn’t have any way to make sure of proper fit, therefore the return was not my fault. (Universal fit item, but I sent image showing it didn’t fit at all!) Kathy ended the chat for me, before I was able to say any more on the issue. I started online chat again and got Kathy. I’ll be darned, she ended chat again with me immediately!!! I tried one more time and got Noelle. Started explaining my issue and SHE ended chat. After calming down a bit, I Called customer service. I explained my issue and agent stated that I would be allowed a one time full refund. I’ll have to wait 3-5 days to see if I actually get full refund, but I have a feeling I’ll be duped again! PLEASE be aware of their return policy and their rude customer service CHAT agents.
CarID. Steals peoples money. Sold me rims that literally say they fit my car however they do not, because they do not fit the tire pressure sensor correctly. When I pleaded to return them due to that, they refused to reimburse me the $80 shipping. However said they will take care of the shipping back. I just received the money in my account…$100 dollars less. Not only did they charge me for shipping back but it miraculously went from $80 to $100 dollars. Are you kidding me??? Apparently there’s nothing they can do. Right. You sold me rims that I can’t use then charged me $100 to take them back. Worst. Literally the worst customer service.
They charged exorbitant shipping for an item that initially never shipped. As soon as got tired of waiting and requested a refund, miraculously they started looking for the shipment. Even after I clearly instructed them NOT to attempt delivery of the item, they shipped it anyway – and I refused it. Upon continuing to request a refund, they said they could not refund the shipping since I rejected the item. Over one month has elapsed and I have yet to see one penny.
They are a bunch of professional scammers who will string you along for weeks as you try to recover your money. The Customer Service is a joke!

All I can say is that I wish I had read these reviews and headed their warning! RUN away from this company!!! I would have been screwed if I needed brakes immediately! After reading other people’s reviews, it appears that we share a similar experience. This was THE worst online experience ever! I chose to buy brakes from this company. It felt like a bait and switch. I ordered them in early May. Their website said it was delayed, but the price was good, so I ordered it. My card was charged immediately. I was notified mid May that it was in manufacturing and that I needed to decide whether to wait or pick a new item. We decided to wait.
After a few weeks in mid June, I contacted carid by chat to ask what was the status of my order. I got a notification that the shipping date would be June 21. Well that was a delay, at least it was being shipped. Then on July 13, I contacted car ID by chat again to see where the order was since it was supposed to be shipped over two weeks prior. Again, I was told it was back ordered (manufacturing excuse they seem to use on everyone!) and I needed to decide whether or not I wanted to wait again or choose a new item.
Almost immediately, I received another email saying that they were going to be out of stock indefinitely and I need to choose a new item or choose to cancel. It is now been two months since I did the initial order. I canceled the order on June 14. The same day, I ordered a the same brake set from another website. It was delivered in less than four days. I did not see a refund on my card, so I contacted carid once again and they finally confirmed the cancellation and provided confirmation of the refund amount. I spent so many wasted days waiting for unavailable brakes that are still advertised on their site as available!!! Don’t waste your time and money with these people!
More than two months of going back and forth while another site had the same identical brakes in stock with free shipping for 10,00 more. It felt like a bait and switch!!!

Total scam. BBB ratings are a joke. Businesses pay for ratings. Positive reviews are most likely fake. Free shipping? No, shipping is added when you buy. These people are crooks, period. They lie, wont refund for a botched order and steal your money.
FOLLOW UP ON POWER WINDOW MOTOR. After not hearing from caridad,I called. They said vendor no longer includes motor. They will NOT REFUND FOR OVER CHARGES, SO IM SCREWED. $97 for a $35 actuator is stealing. Have a call into my bank to file FRAUD COMPLAINT. I used debit card, so I’m out the money. There are enough complaints that they need to be SUED.
Thieves. They are a fraud. I bought a auto window regulator WITH MOTOR. Only received the actuator, no motor. Caridad said they would send email to vendor requesting motor. Said I’d get email notice in 24hrs. That was 3 business days ago. No word.

Their ad said “free shipping. My cart said “0” for shipping. The summery showed “0” shipping charge. I hit the purchase button. The ensuing purchase receipt showed a $15 charge for shipping. They said it was an automated program and refused to refund shipping. Claiming they had no method to credit my card, they issued a electronic gift card to my email. The gift card is useless as I will not buy from them again. AVOID THIS FREE SHIPPING SCAM. STAY AWAY FROM THESE GRIFTERS.
Don’t Buy from!! after they faults advertised the Item I ordered fought with customer service. over a month couldn’t talk to anyone keeped getting you called after hour call back and that was at 08:00 am. I ordered 2packs of 24pcs. and got 2 pcs. had to get hold of credit card to get money back. took OVER a month to get it back. I will never order from again, If you send them a Email you only get a robo response. IF YOU ORDER FROM GOOD LUCK VERY UNRELIABLE
I ordered my parts May 25th . I called three times and they’re looking into why I haven’t got my parts yet from the supplier, I’m not not happy at all, The tracking number says processed but it said that a month ago, now it’s over a month and I never got my parts, Still waiting
Ordered wheels on June 8th, expected to ship June 21’st. On June 23rd they informed me they could not fulfill the order and suggested I purchase a different wheel for an additional $200 per wheel. I requested a refund ASAP via email. Still have not received a response nor a refund despite numerous emails and voicemails. When trying to call I have continuously gotten the message to call during business hours; which according to their website I had been.
Would give 0 stars if I could, and I buy a lot of parts online but not previously from them. Ordered a pair of struts that the site said were both in stock, only 1 remaining with one though. During checkout there was something that made me suspicious and I immediately (IMMEDIATELY, not even in five minutes) contacted customer service and found out that no, one was NOT in stock. They canceled the order but then mentioned this was just a “request.” Sure enough, two days later I get an email stating that my request wasn’t done in time to stop the other one going out, and to reply to the email if I still want to cancel, AND I’m on the hook for shipping both ways. Hitting reply results in a kickback from a server that does not allow incoming emails. Hopefully I found an address that accepts incoming emails. We’ll see.
CARid sells CHEAP after-market Chinese made parts. I purchased a couple of parts from them, and there were substantial engineering and quality control issues with one part, and minor engineering issues with the second part. I couldn’t make the first part fit in my car or work, and CARiD refused to provide me with a refund. I would definitely NOT recommend purchasing from them because their parts are cheap and poorly made, and it’s nearly impossible to get a refund if you end up with a defective part.
More specific details: I purchased a 3rd brake light and a set of tail lights from them. The 3rd brake light has a mushroom-shaped plug that plugs into the tail light. The manufacturing process didn’t create the correct-shaped receptacle in the light for the plug, and the metal prongs that go into the plug were not correctly centered in the receptacle. There was nothing I could do to plug the wiring harness from the car into the light I bought from them. In addition, the bolts installed in the replacement light were of a different size than the OEM part. Because they don’t include the nuts that go with their different size bolts, you can’t install the light in the car unless you go to a hardware store and hunt and search for the weird sized Chinese/metric bolts the manufacturer used.
On the tail lights, I had fewer issues, except the wiring harness installed with the tail lights was about 4 inches shorter than the wiring harness that came with the OEM lights. As a result, you can’t plug the wiring harness from the lights into the receptacle on the vehicle without some modifications. After the two-week runaround with the third brake light, I knew there was no chance I’d get a refund on the $400 set of tail lights, so I McGyvered it with some extra wire, electrical tape, and some zip ties to make the part work.
I ordered brand name part. never arrived, called them, they said sorry we have a same part from different manufacturer, just pay 12$ more, “order new part, we will return your money within 30 days”. I never saw money back. The new part they sent started rattling right away. They requested a video. How can I sent a video if if it is inside of the car!!! Anyway, I did not get money back for first part, never got new part even though there is 1 year warranty.
This company is not like it use to be. They are crooks selling parts that are whom make them. They don’t stand behind there parts. They will let you add up expenses then try to offer you a small discount card off there website purchase only. Stay away! Go to EBay and look at the recent reviews, you will see, beware. Ordered a set of VDO injectors for my Explorer. Engine miss is worse the with one bad OEM injector. Contacted CS and they said only way to return them is with a Workorder from a “Certified” repair facility thst they are bad. My fault not researching VDO ( common problem ) or Carid. Had ordered from them before but never tried a return. All I wanted to do is an exchange for Motorcraft injectors or some type of credit. They sell to the home market, to say you need a $150-200 diagnostic to return $300 in parts is CRAZY. Will never order from them again.
Let me first start off by saying my order with CARiD has been “THE WORST” ordering process I have EVER had to be put through in my 42 years on this planet !!!
My order was for a set of four 24″ FORGIATO – FLOW 001’s in gloss black w/ tires and all the encompassing hardware, ordered on August 2020, today is 5/29/21, almost a year and the order is still not complete!! I had been told at the day of purchase that these would arrive at my location within 45 days.
*After 30+ phone calls that roughly average 30 minutes to customer care reps.
*Several emails that have gone unanswered by customer care reps.
*Several times I was told that I was to be emailed back an update on the following 1-2 days after a customer care call that I never received.
*Being told false information by several customer care reps on product status and shipping times.-, and manufacture communications.
*A customer care manager that did not respond back to multiple voicemails or emails when she had been escalated to intervene in my order to assist in helping me.
*THE WORST – being told that a wheel was damaged and the stickers/decals were missing but were being corrected by communication to the manufacturer as CarID then knowingly shipped all these wheels to me without correcting these issues. Which in turn they blamed the shipping company (UPS) that they had been damaged in their possession, but as you can see all the damage on the wheels are from the “TOUCHLESS” tire mounting service they provide you and not caused by shipping. The shipping packaging wasn’t even damaged to cause that damage.
*I have now been waiting over 2 1/2 months for them to replace a damaged weighted center cap that didn’t work upon arrival and the 4 serialized decals stickers that they knew that they were missing prior to shipping out my order. (Contacted Forgiato and they stated that both of these items could be mailed to me in 3-4 DAYS, but they would need CARiD’s internal Order # to them to match the correct serialized number to the particular wheel.
ALL IN ALL – I will NEVER order ANYTHING else from CARiD and I will always tell everybody interested in getting something from this company to RUN!! It’s not worth it, just buy from the manufactures themselves as they have treated me so poorly it can’t even been put into words!!!

A 1 star review is too high for these guys. Absolute nightmare to deal with. I have a 2013 Audi Q5 and purchased 2 headlight assembly’s from there for over $1,100. It stated they included the low/high beam bulbs and ballasts. Nope, not included! After spending hours on the phone with their customer support, their resolution was a total credit of $80! That’s less than the cost of 1 HID bulb. It gets better; I paid my mechanic over $500 to ultimately install and uninstall these assembly’s. THEY DON’T EVEN WORK! Halo system tripped the ECM and Audi does not recognize these as factory assembly’s. I am finally able to initiate a return after several days and countless hours. I had to beg and plead to return these! They kept asking for video or pictures showing they don’t work. Maybe after the 100’th call they finally understood that they headlight assembly’s are out of the car and I cannot send these. Now I still have to pay for shipping and a restock fee. Thanks for nothing. These guys suck.
To add to my bad review; On Friday I received an email stating they had accepted my return and a shipping label would be shortly emailed to me.

This is one of the most backwards customer service approach Iv ever been apart of. It makes spending the few extra dollars at a big box retailer worth it like the Amazon’s and Walmart’s of the world.
I purchased nearly $2k worth of parts total of maybe 20 parts. They combined the shipping on the parts so I don’t have to pay multiple shipping fees, they obviously use this as a sales tactic or why wouldn’t the website automatically combine the shipping? But that’s not even close to my real problem….. so I got my parts and when I started to track all the parts that I received I noticed I was missing 2 parts. Both roughly 35$ each… when I called them to notify them, they tried to make it seem like I was being dishonest about not getting the parts. This blew my mind but still not the worst part… they told me they would open an investigation and notify me in 2-3 business days of their findings and they would email me. I had called them on 3/1/21….. 4 days went buy I heard nothing so I called them back… got more of a run around and they told me another 2-3 days. I waited another week still heard nothing… I called them back and asked for a refund since they were having such difficulty getting the parts out to me, of course they couldn’t do that because “their investigation wasn’t complete”…… so I called back and told them since they were having difficulty and they refused to just refund me my money on those two parts that I would dispute the charges with my credit card company….. so I did, and my CC company credited me with the funds this probably happened around 3/21… apparently they got the message or maybe their investigations just take a month long to complete because this morning 4/2 at 4am I received and email saying my parts have been shipped HAHAH I found that very funny that they would even ship the parts. So I said it’s ok I’ll just refuse the shipping when the package arrives…. the package arrived and was dropped off the same day 4/2. I didn’t get a chance to catch the driver to refuse the package. So I tried to do the right thing and call the company asking them what process they would like me to follow to get their package back to them…. (Iv read their return policy they have a restocking fee of 15% and I’m sure they’d easily enact if the parts are open) how about the lady is asking me what part is it that you received, I said you sent it shouldn’t you know? Don’t you have the order number, which I provided to her from the package. But she insisted I open the package to see what’s inside of it…. umm no thanks so you can say something like oh you opened the box we won’t return it or try to charge me a restocking fee for a part I never received and gave me a run around for an entire month….. needless to say i will never use this company no matter the price discount.

Ordered a Cat on 31 Dec of 2020.
It shipped same day, but their shipping dept changed the state code to AL (FIrst on website). My receipt shows correct address. Product went to ALBANIA, and about every other country in Europe. Today is 1/28/21 and it is still in transit somewhere, but it finally made it back to the USA. 30 days of FedEx and I still have no product, no refund and had to file a paypal complaint. BUYER BEWARE. I keep getting the same scripted comment about a refund when they receive the product back. (*IF* they do because their shipping dept screwed up).

I bought an alternator for my 92 Ford Ranger 5.0 V6. After I ordered the part, I received the invoice which stated that the alternator was for 92 Ford Ranger and showed that it fit three different engine sizes. Obviously there is a problem with their software.
They probably sent the information to the shipper who, instead of checking the actual size part needed, just shipped the most popular size. That screwed the shipper and screwed me.
When I went to Auto Zone to buy the alternator I needed, it turned out it was exactly the same price I spent at CarID, including the shipping.
I sent email after email to CarID for them to refund the $36.80. Each time, they told me to go F*** myself.
I then disputed the charge on my card. Then CarID fought it charging me again for the $36.80. Now I have to spend more time sending pictures to my credit cards company.

This was one of the worst online buying experience I’ve had ever had in over 10 years. Nothing but lies and total misinformation from them.
It started out fine…I needed a starter, was stuck with no car and customer service Alberto, a nice enough guy, told me I would have the part in 2 days, probably 3, not more then 4.
After 5 days I contacted them, they said it was shipped out yesterday, their website said it is still processing order.
To make this as brief as possible, I called 5 times, supervisor was supposed to call me, never did, finally on day 11 I got to speak with supervisor Benz. Not lying, their were roosters crowing and dogs barking in background.
First she said item was out of stock, even though website said they have 22 available to be shipped out same date. Then she said warehouse were supposed to be shipped all of the sudden closed and only her and not staff knowing about this! Said they will order from another warehouse to be shipped in 2 more days.
I told her I’ve been over 11 days without a car, have to walk over 1 mile with arthritic knee and I’ve called up 4 previous times and everyone always said everything is alright and always said I would get it in about 1-3 days
I asked if she could expedite the shipping, She No, I would have to pay more and it wouldn’t be PROFITABLE to not charge me! She said I always have the option to cancel and buy from a competitor. I told her I would write a terrible online review and she didn’t care. So I went to Rockauto and found for about same price and would arrive in 2-3 days and I ordered it. So I canceled my order with Carid and hope they refund my money.
Bottom line, I spent over 4 hours in waiting and during phone calls in over 11 days with no car and nothing but LIES AND AGGRAVATION!!!

I ordered a spoiler for my 2004 911 Carrera. After four days of inquiries, I was told it will be shipped on this day. When I emailed to inquire shipment, the rep was unable to tell me whether it was shipped from the warehouse or not.
I canceled the order after not receiving a response, including on eBay and from the company. Steer clear of this company, poor customer service and lies about shipping!

Buyer be ware of Global warehouse companies. Put in order on the 7th of December. 3 out of 4 items shipped on time good quality. Radio was never shipped, and order was closed. Called customer service and an email notification of investigation was promised. Nothing yet will keep escalating over a week later.

CarID is a horrible company with despicable standards hidden behind a fancy website. This was the worst experience I have ever had with any company ever. It borders on illegal. I purchased a wheel and tire package. This consisted of Roderick wheels and Continental tires at a cost of close to 2K. I received the wheels about a month after ordering. The wheels were defective. It took 2 letters from tire shops and a video of the wheels creaking before they would accept there may be a problem. No exchange, no refund. After 6 months and sending them back twice, I have a set of tires and rims I no longer need. I don’t want to sell them in case there is still an issue. (Unlike CarID I would feel bad about misrepresenting a product I sold) In the end, I had to move on and purchase other rims and tires from a reputable company. I can’t have my auto on blocks for 6 months. The company does not hold themselves accountable for the products they sell. Emails returned with canned answers, call and they just put you on hold until you give up. I did complain to the company and they offered me $30 off my next purchase in a canned email. Nope. Update. I ended up giving away the rims to my brother. Thank goodness i did not sell them. They still creak!!

If I could give a zero stars I would. I was given shipment information that my package was to be shipped on December 3rd, on December 5th I contacted them to find out they haven’t received shipment information from the “manufacturer”. Finally on the 8th I was given package tracking information. Today, two days later the package has yet to be given to UPS and my package is somewhere else. I keep getting told that they will send an email when they have an update. This is absolutely ridiculous!
They sold us a product they didn’t have and returned the money to a gift card we no longer had. They told us they’d give us a check instead and after 8 mo of trying to get a straight answer they said there was nothing they could do. So we lost $200 bucks for no product. Beware.
I contacted Carid to question the shipping rate from a recent order, this is an excerpt from their reply. “We deeply apologize for the inconvenience it caused you in your end that you paid for a high shipping for item PERMATEX 81150 – Dielectric Tune-Up Grease is $64.55. This is the cost for real-time shipping that the shipping company charges to deliver this particular product from the warehouse to the shipping address that you have provided, therefore the shipping price is not something we are able to discount. Please allow us to offer you $25.00 worth of gift certificate.”
Yes you read that right, they said the $2.83 tube of dielectric grease cost $64.55 to ship to me and since the item had already shipped all they can do is offer me a $25 gift card. Did they even investigate my question or just rubber stamp a reply using prewritten responses.

Do not order from CARiD.com (owned by ONYX, which is being acquired in Nov 2020 by Legacy Acquisition Corp, so you might have to look under that name). My experience matches all the plethora of 1 star reviews about CARiD.com: They ship shoddy parts then refuse a refund. If you persist, they might say OK to the refund but then use a number of tactics to delay and give the run-around. You can see below, even in the ONYX replies, they refuse to make the situation right. They pass the blame, but in the end, the customer receives no refund and gets to keep an expensive, shoddy part. I purchased fenders ($359.45 total) for my brother without reading the reviews—a huge mistake. As of today, Nov. 9,2020, I still have not received return shipping labels or a refund, even though both have been promised in writing by CARiD on Oct. 29, 2020 (something they later denied on the phone today!).

-Today (Nov. 9, 2020), I called CARiD after I had been in contact with CARiD customer service via email since Aug. 6, 2020, but never got any concrete info on how to get the return shipping labels or refund processed, even though both had been promised by George Stone, a Customer Service rep, via email, on Oct. 29, 2020. -Each time I received an email from CARiD since Aug. 6, 2020 (including up to today, Nov. 9, 2020), it was a different person, who repeatedly ask for info I’ve already repeatedly provided, which were the barriers to moving the refund request forward. This is not good customer service and is designed to keep the customer from pursuing the refund. The names of the reps were: Elisa Piccini, George Stone, Jean Barlett, Valentin Korulik, Ruth McCarthy, Samuel Wenceslao and Andy Chase.
-For example, they requested photos of the parts, the car’s VIN, and a letter from the mechanic who said the parts were unusable. I sent them to George Stone and Elisa Piccini as early as Sept. 9, 2020, then again on Oct. 27, 2020, and again today, Nov. 9, 2020. As recent as today (Nov. 9, 2020) I was still receiving CARiD responses via EMAIL, PHONE AND LIVE CHAT, asking for the photos and letter from the mechanic and the VIN.
– For the record, the folks I spoke to on the phone today (Nov. 9, 2020) for a total of 1 hour and 15 minutes were: Pete To., JC, and Muriel. Pete had me on hold for 1 hour, then hung up. Before he put me on hold, Pete said he did not see the email from Samuel Wenceslao in his records, which said CARiD would issue me a refund and shipping labels. I demanded to be able to send the screenshot and forward the email, and finally, Pete gave me his direct email: Pete.to @ carid.com. Pete went on to tell me he can’t see all the emails from the other customer service reps, which I said was his problem not mine. I said I would not take anymore BS or excuses. I have wasted so much time trying to get this refund, and time is money. I called back for a 2nd time today (Nov. 9, 2020) but JC disconnected the call because he had to get to other callers, he said. Very nice. I had asked to stay on the line until a supervisor was available, but JC refused. Such customer service. I called back again for a 3rd time today (Nov. 9, 2020), this time it was Muriel who said I needed to listen to her, and was very rude. None of them were helpful. Pete said he could put me on hold for a supervisor; JC and Muriel said the only way to contact a supervisor is for them to call you within 24-48 biz hours. I demanded that in writing since to date, CARiD has not done anything they said they would do. Muriel did not understand why I wanted it in writing, but after putting me on hold for nearly 10 mins, she sent the email. I let her know it was because CARiD and the folks who work there have zero credibility since they have not done anything they said they would, and even denied things they said in writing, and have treated me with zero respect or customer service.
-As of 5pm CT on Nov. 9, 2020: I’m supposed to receive a call from a supervisor within 24 -48 business hours. I have zero faith that will happen. I will call back after 48 business hours and brace myself for the latest excuse. They seem to hide behind the manufacturer and say they have their hands tied. I assume it will be a long fight ahead, given the consumer reviews on this site and all the other consumer review sites that show even if you get the shipping labels and make the return, CARiD will deny the refund on the basis of something being wrong with the box or the parts or another technicality. But not refunding $349 for shoddy unusable parts is criminal. I won’t let this go. Consumers deserve more protection than this.
Don’t do business with CARID
I was very excited to get my wheel/tire package I ordered for my 2002 Saleen Mustang, and after waiting roughly 3 months, I was severely disappointed. The wheels they show as a “guaranteed fit” for my car, won’t let me install the front center caps. The bearing dust caps stick out too far. Their only offering during the four emails was to remove the bearing caps. I live in a dusty area. Dust in bearings = part failure… NO! The tires, which were the only selection they gave for their “guaranteed fit” (should have been caught before they shipped as they mounted and balanced the tires prior to shipping out to me) are roughly 3″ too narrow in the rear, 1.5″ in the front, and look ridiculous! They are bulging out at the sidewall. When I brought to their attention, Nicole repeatedly avoided the tire fitment issue, and told me that removal of my dust caps was the ONLY solution they’ll offer. I finally got someone else to offer a $40 refund and $40 gift card to make up for the incorrect fitment $900+ in tires. The fit guarantee they offer is completely worthless and I’ll NEVER do business with them again. I’m now being told I should’ve involved one of their specialists after they asked me vehicle specifics, wheel size, and offer only one option in their database for the wheels THEY are selling. Why wouldn’t I trust them?! Definitely won’t make the mistake of doing business ever again! Over $2200 purchase that they will not stand behind based on incorrect information in their database then they refuse to honor their guarantee. They have no integrity at all!
Stay away from CARiD. This is a 3rd party seller of other companies inventory. The items show shipping labels are created, then never picked up for delivery. CARid’s offer of a $5 gift certificate is a joke. I will never order from CARiD again. The amount of hassle and lies by the CARiD customer service reps are not worth the time and energy of the $40 charge for the parts ordered. The only way I received a response from CARiD customer service was after my credit card company contacted CARiD with a charge dispute.

This was my first order with CARID. I purchased on 10/5 and the part arrived on 10/8. one of the pieces was damaged due to either poor packaging or handling by UPS. Not sure which. I immediately contacted CARID and provided a photo. A damage claim was initiated. I was told to expect pickup in 3 to 4 business days. I waited and then called back and was told that the delay was by UPS. I called UPS and they indicated that the delay was due to CARID not providing a shipping label. I have received 5 emails from 5 different employees of CARID. The package still has not been picked up. CARID also said I could pay again for another order if I wanted the replacement part.
DO NOT BUY FROM CARID.COM! They sent me defective drl lights in a restyling kit. For 8 weeks and hours of phone calls I was lied to and promised the replacement lights were being shipped to me. Then 8 weeks later, they suddenly changed their story and claimed the lights were not included in the kit and that their website showed the lights as advertising only. So they refused to do anything for me. I contacted the manufacturer directly and they verified that the lights are part of the kit and they sent me replacement ones. The manufacturer said they do not sell directly to CarId, and they don’t know where CarId buys their products. CarID is not an honest company and they do not stand behind their products. Ordered HSE wheels on July 10th, informed me it would be 2-3 weeks for wheels and tires for Porsche 911 C4S. No problem. $7200 paid then but never heard to any follow-up, updates (all initiated by me). Not COVID problem. Then, no center caps nearly three months later, see pics below. No paperwork, warranty, care instructions, tires half-filled with air, a mess. Called numerous times, hours on hold just to talk to someone, then forwarded to another, more hours on hold. Asked for management constantly, no return calls treated very poorly. Management call, forget it. Get your wheels elsewhere like from HSE direct. Finally, HSE took care of it in 24.hours after calling them direct.
The worst… ever in my life! $408 dollar ‘Not as Described/Wrong Item’ arduous return! If there is a legitimate problem with a product, to obtain a return and refund is horrible, time consuming, frustrating, and can take months to resolve.
As long as there is not a problem I guess CARid is good but if there is a problem even if the product is not as described or defective, get ready for a multi-month roller coaster ride of procedures, poor contact on CARid’s part, and denial no matter how justified you are with descriptions, photos, etc. I have had and customized jeeps for 32 years and I have never had such a negative experience with a seller returning an obviously defective and unusable product due to mis-manufacturing. CARid could not have made it more difficult to resolve an even after it was returned in the exact condition and cartons as received.

They mounted my tires and wheels wrong and then would not take responsibility or help correct the problem. Their customer service lady lied to me and said they would send call tags to pick up the product then I never heard from them. Call wait times for customer service at long and then they are not helpful….disrespectful at best.
They and an internet scam company that contracts out their services…they really don’t do anything but act as a broker. Their orders are fulfilled by other vendors.

This company is DISHONEST! BUYER BEWARE!!! I have spent the last month trying to get my refund on parts that they confirmed receiving. I made 4 calls, holding an hour each time. Every cs rep assured me that my refund was being processed. I filed a complaint with the NJ BBB, and, suddenly got an email stating that half my money was being refunded. I have emailed 5 times, and, again, was assured my money was coming. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE CROOKS!!!
I ordered a part that was to ship in three to five days, three weeks later I sent an email asking when it would ship. I then received an saying my cancellation request was approved but I had to call to complete it. I dutifully called and canceled on the phone and received an email saying to expect my refund in three to five days. Two weeks later I called and spent an hour and a half on hold to be told the billing department apologized and that I would have my money back the next day. Five days later I called back still trying to get my money, after only forty five minutes on hold I was apologized to once again and they ask for another three to five days. When I pushed the issue I was told they had not received their money back from their supplier so they could not refund me yet. Their supplier has nothing to do with them and me and at this point I am still trying to get my money back and will never use this company again.
I ordered a set of wheels for my car. they guaranteed them to fit. the wheels were sent directly to the shop and installed. unfortunately my car requires staggered wheel sizing. I did not get the correct wheel width for the back tires. I did not notice this until the wheels shredded my back tires. Carid would not provide an exchange or any restitution. in fact, they would not even speak with me about it.
I purchased a $2000 tonneau cover and they sent the wrong product. Clear mistake. Customer service told me it would take 30 days to get correct product. Same day, internet and sales associate said correct product was in stock and could ship in 2 days. Customer service refused to exchange, and told me I’d have to pay for a call tag.
I purchased a Duraflex GT 500 Style hood from CAR ID. Absolute piece of garbage. Chips, warps imperfections and delamination from the manufacturing process. Not one straight line. My body shop refused to install it on my vehicle. Trying to return this product has been a nightmare. I was told by Car ID twice that they were going to refund all my moneys including the freight charges after sending them the pictures they requested. Well it never happened. Nothing but double, triple and quadruple talk with no results. I would not recommend this product or Car ID to my worst enemy. There customer service is the worst that I have ever experienced!

Ordering was super easy, pricing was good, shipping cost was reasonable.
Here is the problem: they can TAKE the order and your money, but they cannot DELIVER the order and their customer service is ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC.
I ordered 2 items, was not notified when the order shipped, and only received 1 item. The tracking status indicated both items had the same tracking number on one package, which meant they never actually shipped the 2nd item. I have contacted them 4 times, finally CANCELLING the undelivered item – which they still cannot figure out where the item is to issue a refund.
It has now been 1 month since I ordered.
Ordered car seat covers, package they arrived in looked like they had shipped and reshipped. Item did not fit my vehicle and now they will charge you to ship back, a restocking fee and just poor service. I told customer service that I would not ever buy from them again. They will not even get a star rating.

I purchased both head and taillights from Carid. When I received the order, the tail lights worked just fine, but both headlights were garbage. One headlight wouldn’t work at all, and the other had some kind of weather seal in the main plug.
Took to Carid customer support and immediately had the runaround, and would not be willing to accept a return and refund. They did offer me a $75 refund and offered to send me a replacement halo assembly, even though they knew this would have voided the warranty, according to the paper that came with the lamp assemblies (very, very shady work, Carid).
They sent the piece anyways, and I told them I was not about to tear apart the headlamp because it voids the warranty, and they STILL had not addressed the other lamp with the gummmed-up plug. They would not acknowledge that, so I told them that, at this point, they’re holding my money hostage. I took to PayPal, and they assisted me in a full refund. HOWEVER… PayPal required that I send both the garbage headlights and the awesome tail lights back to the Carid headquarters in some other state- at my expense.
Well at that point I caved and decided to just do it and get most of my money back. I waited a few months and told Carid to delete my account. That whole ordeal, from purchase to refund took months of my time. I would never recommend these crooks to anyone.
Don’t be fooled by their flashy website, online chat, etc. Recommend you do not do business with this company.
Initially, I believed the salesperson was very helpful. I wanted to order 17×9 wheels and tires for my wife’s brand new Jeep. The salesperson advised me these wheels, although they should fit, might be tight and I should go with something more aggressive. He told me the same wheels were available in 20×10 with a -24 offset. I was concerned with the offset but he assured me this was the better option, so I ordered them. I now know this offset is too aggressive and the tires will stick out too much for what my wife wants. Not his fault, but was he being helpful or just upselling me on the more expensive 20″ option?
The salesperson told me it would take about 2 weeks to deliver. I placed my order, and my credit card was charged (almost $3200), on 04SEP18. The website also indicated the estimated ship date was 14SEP18.
On 20SEP, having heard nothing about my order even though I had inquired twice online, I called and was told they were waiting on the TPMS sensors. I asked what the ETA was and they could not give me an answer, only “you’ll get a tracking number when they ship, ok”.
On 24SEP I called again and asked for the status of my order. Still waiting for the sensors. Still can’t tell me how long. “We’ll email you tracking information when they ship, ok”. No, it is not ok! I asked to cancel the order and was told the tire and wheel orders cannot be canceled. I asked to speak to a supervisor, was told there were none but to hold on. After some time, the salesperson came back and told me my tires and wheels would ship the next day. Really? How did things change that quickly?
Well, of course, they did not ship. I understand their policy is they won’t cancel or refund tire and wheel packages, but if they cannot deliver the product in a reasonable amount of time, or come up with another solution, they need to cancel the order and make things right. They also don’t have to deal with my wife who is livid that her Jeep is not done!
Shame on me for not researching the company before purchase. With almost 600 BBB complaints and thousands of negative online reviews, this company cannot be trusted. I just want to quickly receive a full refund and be done with them.
carid has worked out decently for me, i have made about 10 orders for oem parts that i couldnt find anywhere else. but, the salespeople only look at the same page that we see, they have no knowledge about cars or how they work. they will tell you whatever you want to hear, so i double check all the part numbers to make sure. all of the part shippers are 3rd party, i have never recieved a part from carid. also, do not rely on the shipping date…the parts almost never come when it says they will. i would not recommend ordering anything over a $100 item, it is worth paying more to have a physical store ship it in, in case anything goes wrong. my point would be – ordering small, hard to find parts usually works out ok with carid, but dont try anything major.
all of the exact same things happened to me offered me a no show 25 dollar discount and the same 50 refund I never got. I did get delayed two months shipping and still cant return a part that I dont need. I can contact sales but not customer service.
CoverKing seat covers for 2014 Dodge Ram 3500.
The product seems well made. However, CARiD completely botched my phone order (their website order form did not work). After waiting 2 months for my backordered items, I received $500 of useless covers. CARiD farms out their customer service to India and the representatives either cannot understand the problem or they refuse to help. In addition, they are rude. I did not receive even a partial refund. No exchange. Nothing. They blamed the manufacturer completely and CoverKing states the seats were sewn as ordered by CARiD. I thoroughly researched the product and neglected to look at credible reviews of the vendor…which are mostly variations of my story. I hope this helps someone avoid my costly mistake.

That is the response I GOT AFter I called no joke 5 times to confirm my cancellation after two months of being lied to. CARID IS A SCAM AND AVOID AT ALL COSTS
NOT RECOMMENDED. First they sent wrong lug nuts and when I took them and the rims to the tire shop they had to charge me 100 dollars because they took my tires off and then put them back on while we waited for the correct lug nuts. CARiD refused to pay for their mistake.
Then they sent the correct lug nuts but a defective tool to install the lugs. The part was obviously painted over ot disguise the defective spot on the tool. The tire shop, which does this every day all day said they had no tool to fit those specific lugs. So now we wait again for this specific lug tool to finish the tires. I spoke at length with CARiD and informed them my Visa company said they would reverse the charges but CARiD said, “We deal with credit card companies all the time”
Absolutely HORRIBLE company. I ordered two things on different days. I paid over $300.00 for a dash kit for my 2019 Toyota CH-R. When I ordered it said 7-10 days. It took two months. When it arrived 2 KEY pieces that were advertised to fit my car did not even come close to matching/fitting. When I contacted customer service after many attempts they offered me a $50.00 refund and a $25.00 credit on my next order that I never received. The pieces that were missing were the pieces that you would see the most while in the car. The second order took over two months and is JUNK. Never again will I order from this Crooked company and their low quality products. F-
It took over 10 days to receive my headlights which were round. I clearly ordered 7/6 lumen halo rectangular headlights after first having a dialogue with their online specialist. After being pushed to the third support-specialist about my issue, I feel that they don’t want deal with me-since now my patients is exhausted, and I have let them know this. You cant fit a round peg into a square hole. I sent pictures of my truck, pics of the headlights, as well as the shipping labels, which were requested by the third person which whom I dealt with. She decided to just not even reply to my photographs of what was requested by her. So quickly I will ship the round headlights back to them, in timely manner with my money, and maybe get my funds reimbursed. This is a first for me when dealing with online purchasing. I guess that my issue is no big deal to them.
Horrible customer service, they shipped late for starters. Secondly they only sent half of the product I paid for. Took me a week of phone tag before someone got ahold of me and was forced to use the online chat. I am appaled with the way they do business. Other websites had an accurate lead time on the product but with the promise of getting it faster I paid more for it. Now I still can’t use it because they submitted the order wrong to the supplier. On top of that I got a lousy amount for a refund and half of it was in store credit which I don’t know if ill ever use because I don’t want to support such a lazy business who doesn’t value my time. Not satisfied at all. Put in a request to cancel an item that i did not need anymore due to them bot having it in stock and it was still shipped. Now i have to pay shipping fees and my full return will not even be refunded. Overall a bad experience with them.
I did procrastinate so I am partially to blame. But they are the ones that sent me the wrong size. I even took photos showing how it didn’t fit. What happened was the Toyota dealership offered to install it for me. They said it was the wrong size and I need the next size down. Well it was way after the short return time (designed to keep the returns at a minimum) and they offered to sell me another one. Ha! Don’t buy from these guys they will not help you if something is wrong.
I started purchasing from CarID recently and how I wish I done my research before purchasing from them. I order Custom seat covers, Weather Tech floor mats and trunk liner for my 2019 Dodge Charger GT. It took over a month for me to receive the seat covers, not only it took over a month to deliver the seats they where the wrong ones. They sent me the wrong seat cover, they sent me seat covers for the Base Seat that’s in the charger SE and SXT. the GT has the performance seats. What a headache to have them exchange for the correct one, I have to wait 2 to 3 business days for return authorization to return the seat covers. Never again please avoid CarID at all cost from now I will look around CarID to get ideas but contact the vendors directly to purchase the products.
Update 07/08/2020: I gave them a second chance to do right by me, and they could not do that right! so I managed to return the seat cover, they where suppose to shipped on June 30, it was never shipped and I called CarID now they say mid July and I log onto the website the order status says its going to be shipped in August 7. Seat covers that I originally order on 04/06/2020. Items I ordered from china thru ebay dont take this long. How the hell a product made in USA take this long? I JUST WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!!!!! The Goodmark products they offer are lacking in quality. I purchased an El Camino Door Shell for $550.00 only to learn it will require an addition $185.00 in professional bodywork to correct the uneven surface. No reasonable resolution with CARiD. Buyer Beware would apply.
Terrible product and terrible customer service. Shipped a week later than stated on the website. Bought a Dodge body kit. The mold looks like a kindergartner could of done a better job. Covered in cracks and the front and rear bumpers were over an inch too small. Emailed customer service multiple times with no response. Ended up losing over 2 grand on a job and a loyal customer.
TWICE carid sent me the wrong truck sun visor, second time had wrong part number on visor, different P/N on box and still
different P/N on shipping documents. I took pics of all items & sent to them for return. After they received WRONG part, they still say it was the same as pic in ad. TOTALLY DIFFERENT STYLE! Had to settle for a full refund after 11 weeks of

I had great experience buying from this company. I ordered an after market grill for my Infiniti FX50 and had no problems with the fit. I also ordered a center cap for my after market wheels and they were able to get it for me for a lot less than other websites. I’m totally satisfied with the service I’ve received so far.
Not very happy, I placed an order today while chatting with someone. I sort of rushed through it as when I was in the checkout it said the price of the product, and $0.00 for shipping. I figured that was the final amount and checked out with paypal. I rushed through paypal and ended up not noticing $11 for shipping, I still had the chat session open and asked him quickly to cancel the order. He said it may or may not cancel and IF it does I will get refunded in 3-5 business days. I have a hard time believing that they cant cancel an order that was placed under a minute before hand. I just feel swindled by this company and will not be doing business with them again.
Shysters! I ordered cargo carrier on-line on June 5. Web site offered free shipping. Paid $299.99 plus tax ($320.20). Got message that delivery would be on 6/24. Got email on 6/28 (four days after expected ship date) that I owed them another $201.26 because their web site did not charge me shipping. I went back to the web site and added the same item to my cart and it still offered free shipping. After back and forth emails with Customer Service they finally agreed to ship based on the original web site quote and charge. But, then the shipping ETA went to August 19th (10 weeks from the original order date)! Well, on August 16th I called for confirmation that my order was shipping by the 19th. They said the new ETA was now the end of September. Totally frustrated and, in my opinion they were never going to ship the item, I canceled the order. Refund was fast but I will never do business again with this company.
WORST Company ever.
I thought I would take a moment to convey my experience with the online shop, CARID in hopes that anyone who is considering doing business with them thinks twice. My guess is that some of you are already thinking, “Oh no! You didn’t do business with THEM?” Well, I did. Here’s what happened. ….
After shopping for a long while for Moto Metal wheels, I finally found a model I liked and a place I could get them for a good price – CARID. I have a ’01 F150 and the wheels didn’t come in a 5 lug config. I was told by the salesperson that it was no prob and that they would get wheels drilled for my config. Cool. The salesperson was terrific (aren’t they all?).
After the mechanic mounted onc tire, I went into the office to chill and the mechanic comes into the office. That’s where everything started to go wrong. He pointed out that the other 3 wheels were spinning out of round. He suspected that the center hub core was drilled slightly off. After wanting to punch through a wall, the mechanic unmounted the tire, and took all the tires off the rims. $100 later, I left just as I came.
During all that, we discovered CARID had also sent the wrong lugs. I called CARID. Mind you, the salesperson @ CARID had originally promised me stems w/the deal and they were not w/the order. My shop charged me $10 per stem installed. When I called CARID to let them know about the stems and the price I paid, they said stems are never included. I told them that the salesperson specifically promised them. Finally, they said, “$10 is all we’ll give you.” They also didn’t believe me about the lugs and wanted pictures (as if that would clarify anything!?). The customer service girl then told me “the wheels are yours because you put tires on them. You should’ve put the wheels on the machine first w/o tires!” I said, “WHO does THAT????!!! That was YOUR job to inspect them, not mine.” We went back and forth as you could imagine. *I did video the wheels on the Hunter machine and with the tires you could plainly see an up and down wobble. Drastic it wasn’t, but it was enough for a guy who installs tires and wheels all day everyday to say these weren’t good, at all!
I finally spoke to a guy by the name of Justin who is the head of customer service. He 100% tried to create as many obstacles for me as possible. He said he wouldn’t pay for ANYTHING, ZERO! He was 100% NOT on my side in tone, or anything really. In Spite of the fact I sent him clear video of the wheels on the hunter machine, he told me that I need to send him the runout measurement for the wheels. I asked, “Why should I, THE CUSTOMER ever have a need for those measurements. I came to you to buy rims, not dick around with runout measurements. That’s the manufacturer’s job, not mine. Plus, you can visually see the wheels are out!” He didn’t care. He said, “you can’t tell anything from the video.” It truly seemed that he was throwing as many obstacles in the way in order for me to simply capitulate and say, “forget it… I’ll keep the wheels.” He went on to say that, “you know if those 3 wheels are out of round, you should go by a lotto ticket. I’ve been selling wheels for 15yrs and that stuff just doesn’t happen. CAD machines don’t make errors.” I said – “oh sure they do…. when people put the wrong numbers in!” He simply kept a steady forceful vocal tone and told me “every shop can give you runout numbers.” I said, “I’ll get you the runout, but YOU are paying for the mechanic to run the wheels on the machine.” Justin, “no I’m not.”
It was at that point l I remembered something the mechanic said. “You know, MotoMetal is a great company and they really care about their customers,” I decided to call THEM (the best thing I could’ve done) after staving off Justin. The (MotoMetal)phone rang in Cali. I spoke with a man named Arturo. I eventually got transferred to a “supervisor” (who I’ll name later) who assured me he can get things done. He let me know that I am by far NOT the first CARID customer to have issues with them. I finally …FINALLY felt someone was on my side. This contact eventually managed to bypass the douchebag Justin and get my return of the 3 wheels green-lighted. However, I had to call Justin in order to sort the details out. Justin was a mono-tone prick to me. Like a man-child who got told by higher-ups to “make this happen.” He said that he’s send me labels for shipping, charge my card an additional $600 (in order to get the new wheels started) and remove the charge once the defective ones were received. There were no apologies whatsoever, and he told me that if I buy that lotto ticket, I should send him the winnings. FCK this guy!
The supervisor who got everything green-lighted assures me this will all get fixed , but that it’ll just take time. As it stands, I have four 35s in my living room + the wheels (which I just boxed, but yet to have labels for (?) ). Indeed and finally, they are paying.

Waited 4 months for a part from Car ID they said was in stock. Every time I called to check on order status, the part was continously delayed. Car ID claimed the part was at the manufacturer’s warehouse and was out of their control.
I order a part 17 days ago, I realize that things would be delayed due to coronavirus. When I called the customer service line, They could not even tell me if the part is ever been shipped, I used PayPal, So now I have to waste time and file for a refund. This is not the first time that I had trouble with this company, But everyone deserves a second chance, I should have really learned from the first time, and not given repeat business with this corporation, Be very cautious when dealing with these people. Avoid company at all costs. Ordered a set of rims for a new car . Salesman said he would throw in tpms in for free. Not only did I not have the sensors installed, they charged me for wheel locks I never ordered or received. Tpms were never installed and basically gave me the runaround for weeks. I now have to buy and pay someone to install them. Also price changes after purchase on tires.

I made the bad decision to purchase tires and rims from Carid. My purchase was backordered twice and I asked to cancel the order. They refused to let me cancel it since it was “in process”. Mind you the items were backordered so nothing was in process. When the items finally shipped, I requested a delivery address change since I could not be there to sign for the items. UPS approved this but Carid would not.
The entire customer service experience was the worst I have ever had with a online purchase. Save yourself a huge frustration and headache. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH CARID.
Save your time and money. Far better resellers out there. I placed and order for a dash kit in May. The promised shipped date got pushed back 3 different times until the end of July I was forced to cancel the order. They do not have any management on staff to speak to. I ordered a bumper that did not fit even though it was described that it would, they first said they would refund after I provide proof of fitment. Then after I provided they said they still would not refund. Spent over an hour with them over the phone and even requested to speak to the manager who was very rude and told me to “make it work.” They gave me a refund of $50 on a $400 order. Problems here when you need to send the product back. After, 3 weeks of calling and e-mails I will get my shocks next week. Why, because I was promised air UPS shipping but they used ground shipping. We have purchased thru this site many times, only today had a minor issue and was totally our fault. Ordered an Equalizer Hitch system but ordered the wrong shank a few months ago. This is now past the allowable return policy. Did a Chat with their customer service rep, Ben Richards who took it upon himself to speak to management and work out an arrangement to get us the right shank. This is a prime example of a company and a customer rep working for you. Our fault, out of time but they are making this right. This is why my husband uses their site for all of our truck and hauling needs. Thank you.

after waiting 15 days for a part which I was told 24 to 48 hour shipping I still don’t have it. And the other parts I ordered they send the wrong color. Don’t use this company and now i find out i can get the parts for much cheaper else where. What a wait of time and money. And they Donnelly care.
Just had a run around with carid. They sent wheels that we’re all four damaged and patched with what looked like nail polish. When I sent them photos. They said wheels can get damaged during the drilling process. Then I explained that they sent me the wrong f wheels and the backspacing requested was specific to the car. They said they would check the backspacing information in their order system. Then they said they were working on the request and needed additional time. 3 times before going dark. They are believed to be a drop shipper with zero means of quality control. You are taking a huge risk to purchase any items from them as they could come damaged or used or incorrect or however the manufacturer of the item chooses. They set road blocks for any refunds or requests for review. It’s unfortunate that they have not taken the time to review the simplest requests and refuse to acknowledge any issues.

I ordered a set of wheels that were manufactured by Variant and sold by CARiD/com. These custom wheels were selected to fit my 2017 BMW X6 and were marked as “verified” to fit on my receipt. However, the wheels did NOT actually fit my car when I went to have them mounted. CARiD customer service directed me to go back THREE times for fitment test of the wheels that did not fit in order to give them multiple pictures in order to understand the problem. Finally they said they had contacted the manufacturer, Variant, on my behalf. VARIANT CONFIRMED THAT THE WHEELS WERE IMPROPERLY MANUFACTURED. Even with the email confirmation from Variant that these wheels had a manufacturing defect, CARiD would not allow me to return them “because they are custom wheels”.
They list items in stock which aren’t. They list items that will be delivered in 2 days that turn into 2 months. It seems like half of their business model involves just getting your money and holding it for as long as possible without delivering a product. Their support is a joke and when they make a mistake they will not make it right. Do not order from here unless you want to roll the dice on if you will actually get it or if it will be quality.

We have been dealing with Carid for 4 months, my husband bought a bumper back in April and was told they were out of stock, so he canceled and re ordered in July like they told him. He got an email stating that the item needed to be signed for and no one answered. A call or tracking was never given. He paid $347 and they charged for the shipping so he only got back $100. Then the next line of the email they say out of stock. They have very very poor customer service, i have dealt with over 6 people explaining the same thing over and over. BIG TIME SCAM ARTIST. NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM.

I needed coil-overs (springs and shocks) for my Acura Integra and CARid came up in a search. Their web site appeared helpful with diagrams denoting the range that adjustable coil-overs would lower my car. Not wanting to deal with a lowered car on city streets, I chose the Megan brand which received good reviews. CARid’s website noted that that system would lower a vehicle between 0″ to -3″. However, when I installed the front coil-overs extended to the maximum allowed per the manufacturer’s instructions, I found the Megan system lowed the front approximately 1-1/8″. I contacted Customer Service and sent images of the installation. Ms. Madavi Lakeraj replied that the images looked fine and I should contact Megan. A representative of Megan told me that the coil overs manufactured for my vehicle would lower it approx. 1.2″ NOT the 0″ on CARid’d web-site. I forward this information to Ms.Madavi Lakeraj who contacted Megan to confirm. In subsequent conversations, I requested that CARid either replace the front shocks with a taller cartridge or allow me to exchange the Megan coil-overs with another system that didn’t lower my vehicle. She simply stopped returning my calls. Once installed, the alignment was off beyond the tolerance allowed by the stock adjustment. The front required camber adjustment that cost me $464.98 (2 of SPC 67330 for $239.98) to install. The adjustable rear toe links cost $142.79 (SPC 69450) and several hours of my time. These items allowed correct alignment to be achieved. I have copies of all e-mails, documentation images and invoices. I would not recommend this company.

If I could give negative stars, I would. Horrible service and they are liars. I bought a set of wheels ($1700+). They were “guaranteed fit”. The wheels did not fit, would not clear my front brake calipers. The return policy states that if you are not satisfied or they do not fit they offer a full refund or exchange.
I called, discussed with them. Tires do not clear and the manufacturer, TSW, states they will not fit. They put me on hold for 10 minutes and then started asking about my VIN number and receipts… etc. Pretty much calling me a liar. Very frustrating. So, I was forced to dispute the charge with my credit card company.
Horrible customer service. STAY AWAY from these clowns.
These guys just screwed me. I ordered cross bars from them. REI had a labor day sale going on. And I saw that CarID price matched. So they price matched and everything was fine. Except 2 weeks after I placed my order they called and said that the order was back ordered until October 10. That was fine. I was annoyed but OK. Now I get an email saying its been back ordered until the end of November. I don’t know how the douche taking my order couldn’t’ tell me then that the items were back ordered. I should have just bought them from REI when I could. Absolutely cancelled my order.
Never again will I order anything from this place. Future buyers, saver yourself the headache and time. Order from a reputable site or store.

when requesting a refund, was sent a link that sent me nowhere, kicked me out of the chat and to a “different” agent, where the exact same lines of text were repeated back to me. Never had any intention of sending my parts through. Had nothing in stock and bot system is poorly put together. Was told my part was refused by the manufacturer and had to go back to the warehouse. (Wrong way the supply chain works) then told me the receiver (me) refused the package and i couldn’t get a refund until they had their item back. They never sent anything. Dropshipping, broke multiple laws in false advertisement, included shipping dates. Trying to sell items they have no stock of, overall terrible experience. Just glad i went through paypal so that i know i can at least retrieve my money. Would have never gotten my money if it was through CARid.
The same thing happened to me as well. I didn’t take my time and found out they charged me shipping. All other companies I order from have free shipping. Their live chat on their website is horrible, I got cut off tree times. Wasted 45 minutes with these idiots. I do not suggest this company, buy elsewhere and get free shipping.
I bought step bars from CARiD and they came damaged. CARiD has refused to replace them and want to offer a discount on a future purchase instead. I just want what I paid for.
Ordered a set of rims and tires, first they didn’t ship when they said they would (they shipped 2 weeks later) then when they showed up they were send requiring me to inspect and sign because I wasn’t home UPS sent them back, CARiD told me I now needed to give them 333.00 for a second shipping and be home when they arrived. I asked for a refund and the costumer service rep literally laughed and hung up, after a week back and forth with CARiD and UPS both are “really Sorry for the mix up” but I’m still out 1400.00 and no wheels/tires. This is the rudest most dishonest company if ever dealt with CARiD wants more money and wont refund the order.
I ordered tools from CarID that I needed for a job. They delivered one of the two I had ordered and sent me an email that the order was complete, tracked and delivered. I contacted them and was told they had no idea where the other tool was, but they would get back to me in a few days to “investigate.” Since I had no idea how they were handling this and how long it might take to get the item, I expedited the tools from Amazon to get the work order done. I requested the return authorization from CARiD immediately after the second tool showed up, and I shipped the tools back to them the next working day via UPS (tracked). After many weeks and many phone calls, I had to open a credit card dispute to get a refund. Even after confirmation that the manufaturer had received the items back in perfect condition, CARiD would not issue my full refund willingly. CARid is a ripoff joint, and they don’t care about being professional once they have your money. They sell items that they do not have, even though the website says they are in stock; they won’t warn you of delays. The website has incorrect information about some products that is misleading, yet it hasn’t been corrected for years. They ship items separately while providing one tracking number and will make you feel like you are a fraud when you inquire about your purchase. They will stonewall you once they get your money. Their supervisor would not refund my money until I canceled my PayPal dispute “because their system won’t let them and it is their policy.” I refused to cancel my PayPal dispute and chose to let PayPal’s process take its course because CARiD deserves as much bad documentation as they get until they strighten up their act. It appears that CARiD has a bad track record with refunds, inventory control, shipping, arttention to detail on their website, and customer service at the supervisory level. I will never order here again.
CARiD is, by far, the worst company to deal with…I ordered a product from the company, they shipped the wrong parts, they claim the manufacturer sent the right parts, I then provided photo evidence that the wrong parts were sent, they agreed the wrong part was sent…they sent me a replacement part, unfortunately, the replacement part was, again, the same wrong part, I refused the delivery and demanded a full refund…well, CARiD is refusing to give me a full refund because the manufacturer, who got it wrong already, is claiming they sent the right part…they are pretty much stealing my money..they have my money and I have no part for my truck….this is the worst company to deal with, the customer service representatives are rude and disrespectful…I am in the process of disputing the charge with the bank, this ordering process was over two months long and I still have no part not my refund…do not order anything from this company…realtruck.com is way better, I highly recommend realtruck over CARiD
If you get the wrong part or its defective, you can expect a lot of aggravation and a 3 to 4 week turn around time to get a replacement part or your money back.

Although advertised and priced as available they dont actually have the product in stock. They take your money immediately without having the items in stock. Refuse to issue me a refund. Stay away!!! They sold me a part that failed a 3 months later. I have receipts from the mechanic showing it being installed, then failed and then replaced. Customer support will not accept the fact that it failed. Will not accept a return. Will not refund my money. Each email that they send.. they request new information that they didn’t ask before. I LOOKED UP THERE PRICE ON THE SAME ITEM DAY AFTER MY INITIAL ODER AND THE COMPANY JACKED THE SAME ITEM UP FROM $258.85 TO $341.36 A $82.51 DIFFERENCE. SO I CANCELED MY ORDER ON THIS CALL FROM THE BACKORDER DEPARTMENT. TWO MINUTES LATER I CALLED BACK NOT TO CANCEL THE ORDER. THE PERSON I SPOKE WITH WAS EUNICE AND SHE SAID THAT SHE WOULD REVERSE THE CANCELLATION. THE NEXT DAY (TODAY) I GET A E-MAIL THAT MY ORDER HAS BEEN CANCELLED ? I CALL BACK TODAY WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SPOKE TO THIS LADY NAMED SAM AND EXPLAINED THE SITUATION AND SAID SHE WOULD PUT THE ORDER BACK IN AT THE SAME PRICE OF MY ORIGINAL ORDER. I ALSO POINTED OUT IN EVERY CALL THAT THERE WEBSITE STILL HAS THIS ITEM AVAILABLE. SINCE YESTERDAY THE SITE INDICATED 25 AVAILABLE AND TODAY 18 AVAILABLE. THAT MEANS THEY HAVE PLACED 7 ORDERS ON THE SAME ITEM I ORDERED. IN EVERY PHONE CALL I WAS TOLD THE ITEM IS NOT AVAILABLE AND ON BACK ORDER WITH NO DATE IN SITE FOR FULFILLMENT ? I was sent a brake caliper that did not fit my car. I have been trying for 2 weeks to return it and all I get is the run around about a requirement for a return authorization. They talk one story and do another. I will never use their service again.
I ordered a bumper cover from CarID that cost $444. When UPS delivered it, I was at work, so they called and asked if they could leave it on my porch. I said that was fine. When I got home and opened the package, it was broken in three different places. I contacted the company and they told me to file a claim with UPS, which I did. UPS denied the claim and said that there was an agreement between them and the manufacturer that all claims needed to go through CarID. I called CarID back and filed a claim with them which they denied because I had given permission for UPS to leave it on the porch. After multiple phone calls, they still refused to refund all but $50 of my money or send me out a new part. I would avoid buying anything from these guys unless you don’t value your hard earned money!
Purchased upper and lower grills along with fog lights. Received lights fairly quick, grills took about a month and a half. Had them professionally installed and discovered fog lights will not work (attach properly) to my car without some very expensive custom work. CariD would not refund me for lights because it was past the 30 days. I was late ONLY due to their shipping delay!
Bought a subwoofer enclosure for my truck was supposed to be a direct fit was not,manufacturer flaw,told me to send it back some how got damaged in shipping so will not refund me my money. Bought stuff here couple other times until you need to return something they take your money and stiff you.
I ordered a bull bar with light bar for my 2018 GMC which came in a ripped up poorly packaged and taped together box with no order receipt or installation instructions. Took it to GMC dealer to install only to be told it could not be installed on this vehicle as advertised. Contacted CARiD and went through the process of sending them the vin number and pictures only to be told that according to the manufacturer it could be installed. Took it to a body shop who attempted to install it only to find it was a defective design and could not be secured safely. It rattled and was was very loud and looked silly on this vehicle. They removed it immediately because it was clearly not right for the vehicle. Contacted CARiD again only to be told it could not be returned because it was installed and probably had marks on it. This place is a scam! Do not do business with them. Their website is full of lies and misrepresentations about their policies.

there excuse is the shipping times are just a estimate. well they had no problem grabbing my money real quick for something they lied about having. they say i wont get a refund until i ship the part back to them. i want this payment stopped, this company is a fraud.

I purchased an item on July 16th, the next day I received a shipped notification. Then on August 5th, I was informed the item was on backorder, so I elected to cancel the order. As on today, August 11th, I still have not received my refund. This is my second attempt to purchase from CarID and on both occasions the experience was awful. I will never buy from them again.
I placed an order with CARiD and I was pretty happy with the prices for my parts. Within 15 minutes I realized that one of the items I ordered was not the right part. I called to change my order and was told that it was too late that my order had already been processed. Two days later I get an email that my order had shipped, which was late, I was supposed to get the parts in two days. I was charged more for shipping than what it originally indicated. When my order does arrive it is only the part that I tried to cancel, which makes me think that someone is just screwing with me. I called to see about returning it and the process is a hassle. I had to wait three days for a return slip to be emailed to me. I asked about the rest of my shipment and they blamed UPS for a shipping error. After waiting two more days I called again about my order. I was told that it was out for delivery and that I would get it by the end of the day. The order wasn’t delivered as promised. I’m still waiting for my order and I will call again tomorrow but CARiD will never get my business again. Totally unreliable and not user friendly. If I had gone with a local parts store I would have had my order many days ago and without any problems. CARiD sucks!
Ordered a Swing Case for my truck bed. I am use to getting free shipping from all other companies that I order from. So I did not take my time when I placed my order. Find out that they charged me shipping for spending over 200 dollars. Their live chat disconnected me 3 times. Customer service is absolutely horrible and I was talking to someone who could barely speak English. Buy elsewhere and get free shipping and better customer service.
Worst customer service ever. Will never buy from them again. Ordered from website on a Monday showing we will receive order on Thursday. Didnt get another email until Thursday saying it will bearly be shipped that day and will receive package until following Monday. Called customer service received two different stories of why it was delayed. Asked them to expedite package and was told I had to pay out of pocket for their mistake. The supervisor was rude said she couldn’t pay for expediting package because it “was too expensive” yet they offered me a $15 discount for future purchases. Wonder who will be paying for the rental that I now have to put my customers in? If I could give them zero stars I would. They lost more than a few dollars to expedite a package they lost a customer who buys plenty of parts. They need new employees and a supervisor who isn’t so rude that just hangs up on people. Originally, I purchased a strut kit for my wife’s Cadillac Escalade. The kit was terrible and did not work. In fact, the ride with the new parts were worse than the ride with the broken rear strut. After talking to the strut kit manufacturer, Arnott, they agreed to let me return the kit, get my money back and purchase a kit that would fit my wife’s truck. So CARiD refunded my purchase price, only because of Arnott’s asking, and let me purchase a kit recommended by Arnott. Unfortunately, the labor to install the wrong first kit was $771. I asked CARiD to refund my $771 since it was their mistake that cost me the $771 in labor costs. All they would do is offer me a $150 credit. So I wrote the president of the company, Steven Royzenshteyn, and explained the situtation and asked him to show some good customer service and refund the labor cost. Three days after I mailed my letter to CARiD, I got a response. They called and offered me $124 back on my credit card, or the original $150 in online credit. REALLY!!!! Your advisor sells me the completely wrong product, causes me $771 in labor costs, and you think I’d accecpt $124 back in return? What a joke!! Do not use this company for your auto parts. There are many others out there who offer much better advice and will stand behind their advice. Even the president of the company could care less about his customers. It’s been an awful experience for me and I’ll take my business elsewhere.

Back in September I ordered seat covers from my Honda Pilot EX. I didn’t have too much trouble on the order I thought. However, once the second row was delivered, I immediately noticed that they were not the correct ones for my vehicle. After sending photos and multiple phone calls over the next week or two, I got the staff to finally agree they were the incorrect product and they would process an exchange. Sometime in November I was excited to receive the replacement. Upon opening the box, the seat covers were grey, whereas my already installed front and rear seats were black. I immediately called again and explained the situation. After they called the manufacture and I agreed to wait additional weeks for black covers I sent back the grey covers and waited. Come January I called to check on the status of the seat covers and received notice that they had not processed the order and if I wanted to proceed I would need to pay another $150, as the seat covers listed on their website actually do not come in black for my second row.
