Cons: Box Office Ticket Center Review
For us, the main issue that we’ve encountered when using BoxOfficeTicketCenter, though, has been the waiting times for getting connected to their support lines.
Although they are open 24/7, waiting to get through can be a bit of a drama and leave you hanging around on the phone for longer than you would have wanted.

Pros: Box Office Ticket Center Review
One of the things that you always want to hear about any business is that they are secure. In dealing with your personal details and financial information, as well as being tasked with delivering you the tickets, you are putting a lot of faith into Box Office Ticket Center.
They don’t have a record of letting people down (most of the time), and Box Office Ticket Center claims to provide a 100% guarantee that you will receive the tickets you selected. This might seem like a small thing, but for many people getting hold of the right tickets for specific events can be a nightmare.

Does anybody know where this company is located? I’d like to contact the attorney general of their state. They got us for $1200
Called the day of game was told it was canceled called back to ask about my refund apparently in their computers I never called! Spoke with a manger in regards of my call that was never made she informed me I did call but didn’t speak with anyone! Very rude and inconsiderate!
While looking at the Trans-Siberian Orchestra event at the Wells Fargo Center PA site online we were lured to the BoxOfficeTicket.Center site to purchase tickets. Mistakenly accepting the site as the official venue site, we ordered tickets and it appeared the availability of tickets was tight. We ordered two tickets and paid $292.73 for two mezzanine 11th row seats. Within minutes we tried to cancel the tickets. They refused. A horrible policy, but not uncommon for ticket re-sellers/brokers.
Going back and getting to the official site, better tickets were available at $195 (all in for 2 tickets) for 3rd row floor seats. So BoxOfficeticket.Center rips you off right from the beginning by charging much more for much worse seats.
Be careful what website you link to when looking for tickets and avoid BoxOfficeTicket.Center.
To make matters worse, when we called the telephone number provided in the purchase email confirmation, not only did they refuse a cancelation, when asked what company they represent they provided the wrong name telling us they were with TicketNetwork.com. I wrote a number of reviews on TicketNetwork.com to find out the person at BoxOfficeTicket.Center lied to us about the company involved. I now need to make that right.
This is a scam. We paid $217.00 for two tickets to a show that should have cost $84.00. We still had to pay for new tickets as the tickets we were sold were to a row that did not exist. They are a rip off. Beware.
DO NOT BUY FROM THEM
I bought baseball game tickets and they had not arrived 8 hours before the game. So I called them and they told me to call back in a couple hours. A couple hours goes by and I get an email saying they have been transferred and a second email with the tickets will arrive within a few minutes. An hour passes and no email with the tickets. So I call yet again and the guy informs me I have to download the MLB app and link the app to my email and to the baseball home team. He then has me wait while they try the transfer again but no dice. He tried to say it is an issue with the MLB app and wanted me to contact their customer support. I pay $37 in electronic delivery fees and service fees yet I am doing all the work. I won’t call the MLB app customer support because I know they will tell me that they didn’t sell me the tickets and it is the vendor’s problem. And they would be correct. All sales are final so I cant back out now until the game has started. I typically have to leave my office 90 minutes before the game starts so I can commute, get in, and get to my seats by first pitch. So I may be stuck at the gate with my afternoon wasted if the tickets don’t arrive. Then we will try their “100% Buyer Guarantee.” I am writing this while still on hold. Even if they get the tickets transferred and it all works out, DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Go to some other reputable ticket vendor. At this point in time, I have spent 80 minutes on two phone calls trying to get it sorted out.
Same experience as others!!
Scammers preying on the ignorance of those that almost never buy tickets…its sites like that of ticket-center that should be blocked!!
They figured out how to be the middle man, mark up the price then tack on some BS charge and hope you don’t figure out their scam before clicking the purchase button, because once that’s done, you’re locked in as they don’t refund.
Never again will I be ripped off like this!!
DECEIVING THIEVES!!!!
Okay so, I used this site to buy tickets to a hockey game. First red flag should have been that they were selling tickets before the official site even had them, but I wanted to support my team dangit. Price was redonkulous for the seats but whatever we got them cool. Said tickets would be delivered two days before the game. Cool.
A few weeks later I got the thought in my mind to check the legitimacy of this ticket site. Being the first one that popped up, it had to be legit right? Cue me obsessing over all the negative reviews for the next month before the game, me panicking that the tickets are going to be fake/will never arrive, and I wasted $140 on bad hockey seats for nothing.
I get the tickets two days before the game, but the information in the emails was conflicting. The email from BOTC said a certain company would be delivering my tickets, but I got the ticket transfer from a completely different site.
FORTUNATELY this ticket site that sent me the tickets and gave me the QR code was the official ticket source (?) for this venue (staples center in LA for reference) so that made me feel a little better, but me being the paranoid pansy that I am was so worried that the comments of “I got my tickets but they didn’t work when I went to enter” would come true.
Fortunately everything went fine, everything was legit, and we had a great time. But the bad reviews of this site had me stressing for months over these tickets.
TL;DR: this site is legit, it worked for me, but go somewhere that’s more reliable (like seat geek or the event’s official site) if you don’t want to experience the stress and potential financial loss
Hello- have you used them since? Or know anyone who has?? I booth some recently and I’m so paranoid I won’t get my tickets. They said I would get them two days before , but I’m paranoid ?
I called for an immediate refund because my son was scammed by these people when purchased these tickets. My credit card was immediately charged and they basically said “sorry”, this was the price and he said yes on a recorded line. The agent spoke so quickly, didn’t explain anything and knew they were taking advantage of someone “young”. This website is a SCAM. Insanely over priced and rude staff. Ticket fees are ASTRONOMICAL!!! THIS IS A SCAM
This website is terrible and a scam! DO NOT USE IT!!!! It was so misleading, looked like I was purchasing from the theater’s ticket office. They were selling tickets at over double the cost of the tickets from the actual ticket office, plus outrageous fees per ticket. I called within a couple of hours to try to get my money back. They kept me on hold forever, and when I finally was able to talk to someone, he again put me on hold forever, and then told me there was nothing he could do. Shame on me for being duped – watch out!!
I recently purchased tickets to a Diamondbacks game from what I thought was the Dbacks website. I clicked on two seats that were $56.00 each. When my tickets were emailed to me my boyfriend and I looked up the section number and discovered that the seats we were given are in the UPPER DECK! Those seats are in the $16.00 to $20.00 range. What kind of a rip-off is this? I know with certainty that I did not go to Box Office Ticket Centers website but was somehow rerouted. I emailed their customer service and my email bounced back twice. I called and spoke to a customer service representative who insisted that those were the seats I had selected and there was nothing they could do for me. Why in the world would I pay for $60.00 seats in the nose bleed section? This site is CRIMINAL!!!
I have to agree that the prices they charge are way above and beyond any prices I have paid to see other bigger name bands . The process was easy, but had I known I could get regular seats as opposed to GA tickets, which were all that was offered from box office tickets before the venue sold tickets, for half the price, I could have gotten front row regular seats, do you think I would buy GA tickets? I asked them how they slept at night, they have not responded yet. Never again and I will tell everyone I know what they did. Very sad!
This company sells tickets at unbelievably inflated prices, while giving the customer the feeling that they are on the venue site’s webpage. The face value of the tickets sold was $17.–, while they charged me $140.07.
I would NEVER again do business with them.
OMG hope my tickets are legit, got a confirmation for seats and the row, and then tickets have a different row, spoke to 3 different people no answers, your on hold forever, manager is off on weekends have to wait until Monday to get answers
Did you get your tickets?? I just purchased some and I’m starting to get paranoid I won’t ever see them.
My order was placed online and instead of using my email address, i wanted the tickets sent to my son and this created a HUGE problem. When I contacted customer service, the man i spoke to said “Our security department blocked the sale because the email address given appeared to have been recently created and did not match the email address on the credit card” Although all card info, phone number, billing address, AND security code were correct. I became upset and the gentleman HUNG UP on me. I then called back and a was connected to a woman. I asked her to connect me to the Security Dept. to which she asked, ” Security Department? Sir, we don’t have a security department. How can I help you?” WTF??? When I began to explain the problem, she stated that she had already gone over this information with my son earlier this morning as if she really didn’t feel like she should have to repeat it to me!!!!! Again, WTF???? I eventually had to re-order the tickets but the original order had been cancelled and I now have to wait three days to be refunded. I will not be using boxofficesales.com in the future due to the piss-poor service and attitudes of the employees which I had contact with. I get better service from minimum wage employees at McDonalds!!!
My order was confirmed and money taken out of my account several days before I saw my seat still listed on Ticket Master. It also doesn’t help that I have now just read countless reviews of customers purchasing tickets from your site, only to show up at the venue to find that their tickets had been sold to someone else also.
I am so disappointed with this company, I don’t even know where to begin. My first customer contact was rude and cut our live chat short due to “inactivity” – it was only a couple of minutes while I read her response and she shut down the conversation stating that I should just call customer support because I am guessing that she did not want to deal with me.
-Your site states in small print that tickets prices may exceed face value – but a 80$ difference is atrocious. I could have bought the same tickets for 65$ but now with your increased charges + sneaky small print USD funds, I’m paying 144.00$ each for tickets that should be 65.00$. – Not to mention there was no child pricing on your site, so I am also paying 144.00$ for a 4 years old, when the price should only have been 25$ (120.00$ diifference – how can you justify that?!)
I am a Canadian, living in Canada, going to a show (an hour from my house) , to a show that originated in Canada – why would I ever in a million years think that I would be charged in USD.?
I’m sorry, but your company is so crooked on so many levels. I’ve already spoken with Visa several times and Cirque Du Soleil re: your company. All that is left is to write the Better Business Bureau and post this email on your reviews page on line.
I guess all that I can do is show up, expecting my seat to be taken.
Total scam. I purchased tickets that were not delivered to Will Call as I was told they would be. Upon calling from the event, I was delivered tickets via email at 2:58 for a 3pm performance. They had to be printed however to be valid and so we’re unusable. After being on hold with customer service well into the start of the performance, I was told they would not refund because they sent the tickets before the event- never mind there was no way to find a printer to make them usable two minutes before the start time. After finally being transferred to a supervisor, he said he would check into it and hung up on me. Completely disreputable. To add insult to injury, they also charged a $25 delivery fee to send the tickets. When I asked about that the customer service rep lied and said they had to pay to have the tickets delivered to the theater- which obviously never happened.
Bought 2 $125 face value tickets and my total after the checkout when fees were added was $506.47. That is double the face value. Called customer service and got the most ridiculous explanation that a $58.26 per ticket fee is added as a service charge on top of the other fees. I asked what that was for and they said to maintain the web site !!!!!!!!!!! WHAT A FRAUD.
This website is awful, customer support was rude, unattentive, and ultimately dismissive. I will never dof business with them again. The tickets are overpriced and this is a scam.
Total scam. Report to state Attorney General consumer division as I did. Resale of tickets is legal, but this company overprices tickets up to 1000%of face value. Attorney General said they will save complaints and when enough sent they will contact company and warn them against scalping public.
Do not buy any tickets from this company. They are a fraudulent company who sales tickets that can not be used. We paid $434.55 for four tickets to see the Tenors in Portland, Or on 11/21/17. When we went to use them, we were told the tickets were not valid!!!! The reason we have to pay for tickets we couldn’t use was because they have proof they mailed them to us. Of course they have proof, that is the only way I could get the tickets is because you had to pay $24.95 for overnight shipping, which I didn’t receive for a weak or so. I don’t even think this will go on their website, as all their reviews are good!!!!
I purchased sport tickets thinking I was on the legit site. They said I would get them a week before the game. So checked out to see what box office was about. After reading reviews here, I got very nervous and called my credit card company right away to cancel my card so that no further charges will be taken off. I got charged USD (fine print ) and I live in Canada for a Canadian game. Also got charged insurance through Allianz Global Assistance ??? WTF ??? I GOT ROYALLY SCAMMED !!!
These guys are CROCKS. High charges. tickets more than the stadium price. Tried to contact them the day I purchased thinking they were the stadium. NOT the stadium. No answer after trying several times tried to email them not a good email on the web sight.
We’ve used the 3 times now, prices are good and delivery was quick no issues at all!
I was misguided when talking to this company. I thought I was actually talking to the venue’s office box and I purchased tickets with them. The tickets were overpriced and I was deceived to believe that I was getting good seats, which I did not… They lied to me, but that is not my complain.
My complain is the rudeness that I encountered when we called back to question our tickets. I have never been treated that way by any company. I was baffled! They raised their voices at me and talked over me. If you ask to speak with a manager, whoever is talking to you claim to be the Manager.
One of their “Managers” called my wife and offered a Partial Refund due to the “Misunderstanding”: Did NOT follow trough, NO refund and NO answer. Very shady business practices.
Be aware!!! Do not buy from this company as their prices are doubled and their customer service is not intended to help their customers, but to blame their customers for the bad decision they just made by buying tickets from them!
Thieves no tickets out 280.00 never deal with this agency
We’re the tickets real?
