The only negative part that can be said in this Couture Candy review is that the online store does not provide a refund when it comes to the shipping charges that customers have incurred upon sending back an item.
This would mean that returns for any reason would make the customers responsible for the shipping cost that they will get.
This kind of situation can be quite frustrating for many people especially since it is usually understood that the CoutureCandy.com will make compensations when it comes to this.

They are the worst. Do not purchase anything from them. The dress didn’t fit at all. I called them one day after the delivery date & they stalled & stalled until finally They gave me a return number & then said that they wouldn’t give me a refund but only a store credit & if I used the store credit to buy another dress & it didn’t fit properly again then I would have to eat it because they don’t take back anything that is bought with a store credit. However if I would like to get a refund on my original purchase then they would charge me 25% of my purchase price & I would only get a refund of 75% of what I spent. How do they get away with this?
Buyer beware. I am so sorry I did not read these reviews before ordering. I purchased a dress for $350. When received the color was not a labeled. I Returned the dress per strict return policy guidelines and was given a $253 store credit. This company should not be able to sell retail. Deserves less then one star.
If I could give zero stars I would. Please beware! This company is a complete scam. I ordered a dress for $315.00. The color shown was silver/cafe. When I received my confirmation, I noticed that they were going to ship a silver/green dress. When I was finally able to speak to someone, it had been 4 1/2 hours after placing the order. They stated that if the dress had not shipped yet, I could cancel but would be charged a 15% cancellation fee because there policy states that you only have 4 hours to cancel. What a joke! Then they tell me I cannot cancel because the dress shipped. The tracking info states that only a label was printed. It indeed had not shipped. So now I have to wait to receive the dress and return it within 5 days for a store credit. But that’s not the best part! There’s a 50% restocking fee. They are literally printing the shipping label immediately from their facility to make it impossible to cancel. SCAM SCAM SCAM! Please do not buy anything from these awful people!
Even though item not marked as special order you will not be able to return or cancel without 50% restocking fee and only issued store credit. Will not order from this company again and do not recommend. Customer service was very professional and courteous but still stuck with $640 dress unable to use, even after reading return policy carefully BEFORE purchase.
The worst retail experience of my life. Once you receive the garment you have 5 days to return. We were out of town and apparently weekends count. They only give a store credit and if you do need to return, they do not accept it if it’s over 14 days from the date arrived. I spent $114 FedEx to get it back before 14 days. Ordered 3 dresses from Saks, mother of the groom, a pleasure! DO NOT GO NEAR THIS STORE! SHAM!!!
Do not buy from this website. Their return policies are a scam. I paid $35 to meet their 5 day return shipping requirement. and sent the 5 photos they required , and all they give is store credit. I spent over $600 for dresses that are horrible. The dresses are hideous. If they spent half the money they put into their deceptive website into their quality …..and I am convinced they pay for good reviews because the dresses are nothing like the photos. DO NOT FALL FOR IT
Do not buy from couture candy. It is not a legitimate business. Refused to give a full refund after not receiving my order for 3 weeks. They wanted to charge me a restocking fee and the dress has not been shipped.
beware of this company… they charge for delivery, charge a restocking fee and charge to use your credit. I would be willing to do a class action lawsuit if anyone is interested!!!

Terrible company!
Any customer who attempts to make a return must be ready that Candy Couture will first tell u that u need to accept a store credit that is good for only 6 months! Then once U agree to that, they reduce your credit by exorbitant return fee charges. We spend $270 on a dress and then was forced into accepting the store credit.
Below are the fees and charges they charged against the store credit:

Freight Cost: $16.00
Handling Fee: $10.00

TOTAL CHARGES DEDUCTED FROM STORE CREFIT $100+
They obviously never have a repeat customer after they try to make a return!!
THE WORST! Hard to know where to start: the credit I got (2 weeks before they changed the policy) because it wasn’t posted? The credit they refused to recognize when they changed ownership? I had to call multiple times, was treated very unprofessionally, and eventually lodge a complaint with BBB — since this is an illegal practice — for the $350 due to me before it showed back up. This process took two months. Their merchandise is now terrible and I could barely find things to buy. When I tried to return something I’d bought that didn’t fit, I was informed that credit sales are final. Since when? I’ve returned stuff from the same credit before. Life is way too short to deal with these crooks any more. Good riddance.
I totally agree with Rachel. Shipping takes FOREVER and if you don’t like your purchases, just trash them. They’ll never respond nor refund your money. They’re the WORST! Don’t ever buy from them if you don’t want to waste your money and time. WORST!! WORST!! WORST!! WORST!! WORST!!
I am a first time guest who that made an inquiry with “Ameth” on your web sites on line chat…based on this highly unprofessional, rude, interaction, I would NEVER place another order with Candy Couture! I made an inquiry regarding an “exchange” and was threatened with a 30% restock fee…I just made the purchase on Oct. 8th! I hope this poor business decision was worth losing a new client over such a nominal amount of money…your staff is ill trained, rude and unprofessional! I will NEVER do business with your company again.
Hidden fees!!! 20% re stocking if you got 10% discount for first time customer, over the full price! And shipping both ways $28 each by weight!
And you’ll never get your money back, just store credit. They never answer the phone and e mails only after 3-4 days! Will never buy anything from them again!

DO NOT TRUST!!! I ordered two dress from couture candy and when they came they were a complete MISREPRESENTATION of what I saw online. When I told them that the dresses looked NOTHING like what I ordered to the point that I didn’t even take them out of the plastic wrap, they gave us a very hard time about the returns. After plenty back and forth they finally agreed to let us return the dresses. Once we returned it, they emailed us that they received both dresses and they need to check the quality of the dresses. Then when we followed up, they reported that they now never received one of the dresses. This website is a COMPLETE SCAM. They have TERRIBLE COSTUMER SERVICE and they do everything in their power to steal your money. SHOP ANYWHERE ELSE!!! THEY ARE THE WORST.

Horrendous retailer! Fraudulent scammer! You buy 1 item, trapped with store credit only minus their ‘free shipping’. I called to get RMA and she misled/lied totally – just wanted a size exchange. Got my ‘store credit’ confirmed via email. When I tried to apply it – website would not take it! Ordered size exchange & 1 new item on my card, wasn’t worried, figured just a glitch. Reached out to them (no one answers phone) explaining this, get back convoluted email saying they would convert store credit to monetary credit but I should keep 2nd order all on my card. Was suspicious & called them. She then tells me there is no circumstance they give monetary credit, ( after stating opposite in email) so now I will have store credits (debt) for 3 dresses, asked to cancel 2nd order. They had NOT even processed this order, now they are hitting me with 15% cancel penalty! I was outraged & asked for a manager, rudely brushed me off. Yes this retailer is going to rip you off – BUYER BEWARE! What an awful mistake I chose them – their prices were NOT discounted either

Before you contact throwing threat, you guys need to start reading shipping instructions before ordering off of websites. Please refer back to the website and read our shipping instructions. I am looking for a wedding dress and was considering buying from Couture Candy, however after reading all the bad reviews I have changed my mind and decided to purchase my gown from a more reputable Company. See, poor Customer service will definitely lose you business! You should change you policies or you will be out of business very soon!
I’ll keep this short and to the point since my horrible experience is just like the others. I bought two dresses in December 2017 believing I could return if unhappy. They told me processing took two days and shipping is 4 business days. It took twice as much time if not longer to receive my dresses. I missed the date to wear them and they will not give me a refund just in store credit. I’ve called there number over 20 times and they only answered phone once, promised to return my call, and never called back. They are poor to respond to written contact too. I truly believe this website is a SCAM! I am out over $800 with two dresses I will never wear.
