DHgate is nothing more than a scam. They got me for $59.00. I purchased shoes from seller cmc001 and despite their rating, 95% of all sellers will steal your money, send wrong size shoes, will not refund your money and the tag size inside shoe will be what you ordered but insole size is much smaller. Company needs to be shut down. They are only getting away with stealing from us because China and the CCP allows them to do it. China is a joke and this company is a fraud. You have been warned. STAY AWAY!
Unfortunately BAD NEWS. Takes forever to get product. Comes wrong – “satisfaction guarantee” is bull. Try to return they give their address in China (have US phone number to order) so it costs more to return than to keep. NEVER AGAIN. Don’t order from them!!!
Purchased a lighted tree from dhgate in May 2020. Received wrong product with major quality issues 110 days later. The legal contractual sales clauses were partial refund for quality defects and full refund for delivery exceeding 45 days. Tried to negotiate with seller, seller didn’t care the sale was done. Elevated to dhgate dispute resolution. Analyst never confirmed receiving my emails and evidence photos. Threatened to close dispute in 2 days and offered 80$. Don’t buy at dhgate no after sale guarantees, no returns granted, minimal respect for clients. Go to amazon better returns 100% guarantee for satisfaction. Buying at dhgate worst experience in my life. Never again

Less than two moths ago I joined to the “DHgate” and ordered couple of things from various sellers ,still waiting for them , but here is my first experience :
I ordered e-bike , after less than four weeks I got message from Post Office that they will deliver my bike by the end of the week . It didn’t arrive . I checked at seller page ( “track my item” or something like that ) and I saw that my bike WAS delivered in Redditch but I live in London ?! I called Post Office and I gave them my reference number provided by seller , they confirmed that reference number is legit but it’s not on my name or with my address ?! I opened dispute on “DHgate” , attached screen shoot as a proof that my bike was delivered to someone else and I waited for response . After 5 days I was contacted by “DHgate” that I prove them that I didn’t get my e-bike and because seller didn’t responded to my dispute for 5 days , they refunded me .
I believe that “DHgate” is 100% legit site but , as on every other site , some unethical sellers will just do dodgy things .
So far so god .

DH Gate themselves are reputable, however they have some very seedy sellers that you never hear from no matter how many emails you send. I only buy through Alibaba now, much better complaint process and all sellers seem to be reputable. Very slow to refund monies, they get interest on the monies they hold.
Alibaba refunds straight away, never had a problem.

DO NOT BUY FROM DHGATE (particularly ‘hoeasy’). Item never arrived and trying to get my money back is a nightmare
So far I’ve ordered a few pieces of clothing from them. I’m ok with continuing to order. I did receive one dress that looked nothing like the picture and the stitching came out before I got to wear it. I can repair that for cheap. Also I received a very cute pair of shoes, but the clasp was manufactured weirdly, but I figured out how to wear them. You get what you pay for, that’s for sure but you also get some items that aren’t so bad.
They are the worse and after you question them they cut you off. They don’t care they already have your money. Buy local this way you can talk to a human being rather then “tang tang” that is their computer who also is programmed to put you off. Bad news
Don’t use them, pass it on to all websites so we can annihilate them.

Don’t do it. If it’s cheaply made or does not fit your stuck. They don’t believe in refunds. They say the do but believe me they don’t. Go to pissedoff.com there are so many bad reviews about them I wish I had seen them prior. Buy local and tell your friends and family stay away from them. Bad news
Well one should already know they’re in trouble if a seller or anyone feels the need to verbally or in written form project the word honest. Honesty is a result of characteristic actions that can only be given to someone by their peers or other adults, not a name that someone can apply to them self without raising suspicions in my book.
A sellers feedback should tell me they’re honest, not the word honest being in their name. If anything I see that as a red flag.
You may receive SOME cheap things that you have ordered. Its a chance you will be taking honestly, I received some of my boots but I didn’t receive some. I also did not receive plenty of other items. When I tried to contact the sellers , It says the seller is not valid or no longer for some of the sellers . Customer service is really BADDDDDDDD.

DHgate tells the buyer when the complaint is escalated to keep waiting and does nothing to help you. The order was falsely shipped, never arrived and the seller thought a refund of ONE PENNY would be sufficient. Then DHgate tells you to keep waiting.
You can track your order IF you get a legitimate tracking number, good luck with that. I’ve seen ‘tracking numbers’ that must have been made up.
Ignore ALL promises made by the seller. This include satisfaction, on time shipping, refunds and top stock selection. DHgate will NOT help you remedy the problem.
I’m looking into buying a wedding dress from DHgate. The same wedding dress at David’s bridal is $1500 and on the website it’s way cheaper. But I don’t want to spend and money for something that won’t come in or won’t be what I ordered. Any reviews on Wedding dresses
DHgate is a front for fraud. Faked capacity memory sticks. Do not trust anything from this site.
I found them to be the most un- ethical company I have ever dealt with. Buying is no problem. They take your money easily, but if you don’t like the garment or item and want to return it, forget about it. They have no “live chat” it’s all computerized. They put you off over and over. Then give them a bad review and they scam you by saying change your review and we will refund you. So you take it off and the freeze your account and no one speaks to your questions. My grand daughter who is in the military was getting married, I saw this pant suit and thought “good deal”. It was poorly made and did not fit (according to their size chart) I said I would return it please give me a refund so I can purchase something for her wedding. I was ignored, and the end result was a borrowed outfit, which devastated me.
I have denounced this company at every media site I can, and will continue until my death. I don’t want another grand mother to feel the hurt in my heart that I felt. I would ask you all do the same, I learned to buy local, no more China for me.

Like any other site check the sellers feedback and even then you don’t know what type of seller you’ll end up with.
I’ve only found two decent sellers there out of about 6 items I’ve ordered. One never arrived, two were misrepresented in terms of quality but are still usable, two more were immediately tossed in a pile for local donations and only one item is pretty decent for the price and beyond usable. Wore it to work twice and got lots of compliments. I wouldn’t order sneakers there again period.
I had to open my first dispute last week because an order I placed back on September 17th, 2016 never arrived. It had a delivery window of 6-23 days. The dispute received no response from anyone at DHGate and after the site would not allow me to upload evidence of non delivery (not sure why I had to do this when the seller posted the images of a package that left a sorting center in China and has never updated since) in any format that they requested I called American Express.
I would not recommend using the site with any method of payment that can’t be disputed outside of DHGate if something goes wrong because it will and it appears that they’re too busy responding to negative reviews outside of DHGate to actually worry about the people whose money they already have in an escrow.
The site is purposely set up so that the average online user cannot easily figure out how to open a dispute and request a refund, not that you may get that regardless. I’m what you would call a power user and work in the capacity of digital design and application development for various sites etc and have done so for 19yrs and I could not easily figure out how to open my first dispute. Good luck to those that are beginners or intermediate level users.
I have two more items I am ordering from the seller where the clothes came very usable but after they arrive and the decision is made from the current dispute by my CCC I am deleting my account. I don’t order anything on their sister site, Aliexpress except for products for my store which finding the seller was a good send because she is not like your typical Chinese seller at all who does not care about anything except your money.

I ordered and paid for my orders on the 15th Oct. Today I received a email from dhgate saying my order was cancelled and no reason given. I checked my dhgate account and the status is stated ad items being processed. Can you guys tell me what’s going on. Are you are legit and if my order is cancelled how am I going to get my refund back ?

Site is a straight up scam. I ordered some things, was showing delivered, never recieved them. After that ordered an item and this time the seller never even bothered to ship it. This is a complete SCAMMMMM!!! I made one purchase, the money was deducted and its been 35 days. No item and no refund. I have been fighting with the seller, not sure why b/c they admitted twice that they haven’t shipped it and that they would refund my account but still nothing. I am taking this to my bank and opening a dispute charge. This is crazy, they don’t ship on time. (time to ship according to them and there system before purchasing was 14 days with 3-5 shipping, which i paid for fast shipping.) They didn’t meet the deadline and i had to buy something else so i ask them to refund my money. The seller said they would twice and still nothing. I am having to dispute it with DHgate and my bank. Terrible website and company.

I just placed an order 5 days ago and I don’t expect it for a couple weeks more, But in reading the reviews, I think this company is facing the same many problems that Amazon is and that is that they sell so many other companies’ products it is almost impossible for them to keep testing samples so they know the quality is good and the devices actually do what they are advertised as being able to d, I have had to refund or just keep and get refunds for about 50% of the about 20 0rders I have placed with Amazon.
One of the worst sellers on DHgate is “honest-first”. They ignore all their promises/assurances and are extremely difficult to work with. Make that impossible to work with. Their on time shipping promise is a joke. When weeks later your package does not arrive, they tell you to ‘keep waiting’ it will be there in few days. For your trouble they will offer you an entire penny refund while you still do not have the order. DO NOT ACCEPT THIS as you will never receive your order. Don’t look to DHgate for resolution assistance. DHgate will only tell you to wait longer.

I complained on Facebook — and found that 10 or 15 OF MY FRIENDS WERE SCAMMED BY DHGATE, too.
I returned a garment that was both very expensive and very poor quality. The cost of shipping to China from North America was over $100, just over half the price of the garment. I contacted the seller, who was to pay for the return shipping, as well as DHgate to confirm that I should indeed return the item when the shipping costs were so unreasonable and the wholesale cost of the garment was probably only $5 or $6 dollars (retail $180). The seller offered me a crappy sweater in exchange for not returning the item — but since I did not need 2 unwearable items, I declined.
DHgate promised that I would be reimbursed the shipping costs I was promised. I have complained about 10 times; DHgate only IGNORES ME, or gives me the RUNAROUND. They asked me to email a picture of the shipping label and receipt, which I have emailed no less than 5 times. They do not intend to reimburse me for shipping.
It seems DHgate provides a false sense of security and customer service to gain business.
Where do I start? I would highly recommend that you do not purchase anything from DHgate and absolutely never use the seller @Frank168. I bought a custom prom dress a month before prom, and when the dress arrived, it did not look like the picture. The color, style, and length were totally wrong. I contacted the seller and advised of the issue. They did not want to do anything, so I contacted DHgate Customer Service. The prom was in 3 weeks, so I wanted a refund for me a buy another dress. The seller told customer care to advise me to close the dispute, keep the poorly made dress and they would provide me a refund. I did not believe them and continued the dispute. I tried to return the dress, which would have cost an additional $50 through the delivery service they wanted me to use. I advised that I did not have the money to return the dress. I contacted the seller and asked if I drop the dispute will you honor your first offer and refund me my money. The seller said yes. I did as they instructed, and then they said no, you must return the dress and we will not reimburse for shipping. I contacted DHgate and asked for help. I have provided numerous messages between the seller and I and have proven that the seller has been and continued to lie to me. They have broken so many promises, including their main one (100% Satisfaction Guaranteed). After weeks of emails and back and forth, DHgate tells me that I should not have canceled the dispute because the seller now has my money, and they can’t do anything (the seller know this clause, but I did not) more deception. Even though DHgate has told me over 10 times that I would get my refund and so has the seller, the seller is unfair and difficult to work with. The seller also promised to refund me if I gave them 5-stars, I couldn’t do that knowing the horrible ordeal I am going through with this seller. This has been the worst online experience I have ever gone through, and I advise you not to use this seller or DHGATE- I did not make it to prom, as I used all of my prom dress money on this dress. The seller or DHGATE does not CARE. Wish has the same products and fantastic customer service. They pride them self on keeping their customers happy and stand by their GUARANTEES. If I could add pics I would.

I asked for a refund before my item shipped. Needed it for an event 1 month from when I ordered. Wasn’t until after I complained that it shipped. Quality was absolutely not what was advertised. Too expensive to return – lesson learned!!!
If all you want is cheap merchandise and are willing to accept frustrating service after the sale, zero technical support, long waits for shipping- and are willing to risk inferior products and/or copies/clones, then you might find a bargain here. But… BUYER BEWARE (here’s my shopping experience):
Transaction #1: I bought from a DH seller called “Paxseller” what I suspected was a clone/copy widget for about 1/3 the cost of the real US made item. It came well packaged, felt substantial and you couldn’t tell by looking that it was a clone (even the trademarked logo was identical). But after a few uses we found its performance was unacceptable and probably was defective. So we asked the seller (through DHGate’s messaging portal) for a refund which they agreed to of 30%. But, since DHGate’s order was now closed, credit back to my card through DHGate was not possible, so the seller prompted me for our PayPal account where they posted the refund. Then a couple weeks later, the widget completely died. I contacted the seller again and eventually they agreed to refund the remaining balance (70%)- but insisted I leave them a 5 star review. They did not ask for the defective clone to be shipped back (to China I presume). So I thought this was all settled until some 6 months later a new charge for “merchandise” equal to 70% of the original sale showed up in our PayPal account from, you guessed it, Paxseller. I contacted them again to dispute the fraud charge and they admitted their “error”, however now 3 months later, even with my constant badgering, they still have not refunded their 70% mistake. I call this fraud, so I contacted DHGate service four times now via their online chat and messaging, who basically said they can do nothing because my order was “closed” last year, or they do not respond at all. They won’t even allow me to downgrade my prior review for this seller on their site.
Transaction #2: I bought a $10 widget for my PC but the software that came with it had nothing to do with the hardware, thus with no drivers it is useless. After several messages to the seller, who could not understand what I was saying or just couldn’t deal with supporting what they are selling, I managed to get a $3 refund (and by then just glad to get the fiasco over with).
DHGate does business with and thereby condones shady sellers, and apparently DHGate values them more than their customers. IF you’re still willing to risk doing business on DHGate, never give their seller your personal account info.
Ordered my daughter’s prom dress. It was 3 different shades of red and had beading that was not in the description. It was an A-symetrical design with one shoulder. It fit okay except for the one shoulder. They only made the opening 6 inches and there was no stretch to it. She was unable to get it over her shoulder. I emailed the seller and sent 7 pictures as “evidence”. I was told it was made to a size 8 specifications at their factory and there was nothing they would do about it. I am now out $130. They refuse to answer anymore of my emails. I requested a refund through DHGate, but since the order was processed they refuse to do anything about it and directed me back to the seller. I don’t have a ton of money laying around to just throw it away. I can’t even re-sell it to anyone as-is. Thank goodness I was able to find another dress locally. Extremely disappointed!
