Not all suppliers offer free shipping, as it is optional (free shopping is paid for by the supplier). You can find out who offers free shipping by entering the product name into the search bar, and then looking to see if the supplier offers free shipping to the country you want the product to be shipped to.
There have also been issues with unscrupulous sellers not shipping items as described, leading to negative reviews for AliExpress.com.

Aliexpress is good at covering sales failures with a refund. BUT you typically have to wait about 90 days to complete the refund process. This means another item needs to be purchased due to the long delay. I had to purchase a mobile phone from Amazon due to the excessive wait on Aliexpress. The Aliexpress sourced phone did turn up six months after purchase!!!Recently the situation has worsened two in three purchases were not delivered. There is a huge problem getting support because it is only through an automated system that cannot cope with unusual issues. The worst issue came with a warranty claim (after sales) the system directs you to communicate with the seller. My experience has been that warranty is valueless in that the seller will read messages but ignores them. This happened with a phone battery with a two year warranty that failed within eight weeks. Do not buy batteries from LOSONCOER. Aliexpress support is poor and ineffective in dealing with sellers and warranty claims. Currently I do not recommend AliExpress.

Most goods arrive without issue, although some take a very long time. Some goods that say they are leather are obviously PU and some goods that say they are cotton are polyester – if you question this you have to get pay a professional to report on what the materials are.
The worst thing is if you put through a dispute, generally they find on behalf of the buyer, HOWEVER, THE REFUND NEVER GETS PAID OUT!
I have a number of refunds outstanding, mostly from clothes where the size chart was completely incorrect, some won the disputes months ago, but there is no way to know whether the seller or AliExpress is meant to pay back the money. IT JUST NEVER GETS PAID BACK. Not so bad for cheap items but a $90.00 jacket that was meant to be a XXXL and is probably an XS is a total rip-off.
BUYER BEWARE, Eva the robot sends you down a dead end trail.
I have been dealing with Aliexpress for one year, about > 80 transactions. With eBay for 20 years, about >2000 transactions, only one problem. With Aliexpress I had more then 12 issues, there is absolutely no customer service, no real people to contact, the virtual “EVA” is a joke, the dispute process is a fraud, they basically support cheating sellers and a poor delivery system. I feel bad for the legit and good sellers, but anybody below 97% reviews, you will have problems. Many sellers change their names after bad reviews, so look out for “new” sellers with less then a year existence.
Aliexpess has a better website, more and better description of items, but I am back to eBay.
Not worth it unless you like gambling
Some items are promptly delivered, usually with what appears to be US warehouse. Regular items take a month or more if shipped from overseas. Frequently, items (over 10% of orders) which were never received were disputed and if their logistics show it never left China, a refund is promptly given. If a product is received damaged, they discount it, but I end up stuck with a damaged item, albeit at a reduced cost. The problem is that their logistics can be way off, and I end up charged for items which I never received, so I am out the cost of the entire order with no delivery.
Note that description is often wrong and overly optimistic, and be careful with voltage (many things are 220) and size (metric vs. English – even drawer knobs don’t fit and threads on screws are not US compatible). Plugs on electronics can be European/Chinese standard – not US.
In short, ordering from Aliexpress is like gambling. Don’t do it unless you can afford to lose your money. You can get a good deal, but often, you will get burned. Also, be careful of fake goods (like SD cards).
I placed several orders in August for their products only to find out that the delivery was cancelled. Never received the goods nor a refund. NEVER EVERRRRRRRRRRRR AGAIN!!!!!!!

Between Aliexpress and the USPS, Ive lost money on two orders this summer. The tracking on these two packages state “Delivered”, but I never received delivery. Ive lost less than $100 but it still hurts. Buying on Aliexpress is risky. Most of the sellers Ive ordered from are honest, BUT there are those that will send defective items, short on the quantity ordered, have slow delivery. Shipping costs have greatly increased. In the past Ive cancelled payment with my bank when I had proof that the item was broken. But in the most recent cases, there is no way I can prove non-receipt of my orders. Ill find USA vendors in the future.
A couple times a year I make a $500.-$5,000. purchase (apparently I am a very slow learner).
Almost every order plays out the same way:
1, Following payment a tracking number is issued quite quickly (to circumvent the automated refund system).
2, I’m contacted about delays due to being last in queue (but can pay extra to expedite my order), or there are shipping delays (this too can be expedited for an additional fee) otherwise another shipping related issue like “advance customs/duty payment” or remote aria service charge (mind you I live directly beside a 6 lane highway).
3, If I decide to back out of the purchase due to these surprise delays/expenses they will refuse to cancel the tracking number, thereby making it impossible to file for a refund (refunds can only be processed before a tracking number is issued or after the tracking number indicates receipt of the item (which can,t happen if you don’t pay the extortion/fees or wait several months in queue).
AliExpress does nothing to assist because a tracking number has been issued and once a tracking number is issued they pretend it is in-rout until it shows as delivered. Only after the tracking shows as delivered are they even willing to allow a dispute to be opened, and the scope of their involvement is to send an email to the seller. It remains entirely in the sellers hands how they will deal with or ignore it and that is the final say in the matter.
AliExpress will not/does not sanction the seller in any way and will not/does not issue a refund directly from the sellers e-walet.
It is obvious that AliExpress not only facilitates but encourages this behavior (cirtanly does nothing to discourage it)..

They only show good reviews and hide the bad ones. No customer service number. Only communicate through email. Or boys with instant messenger bullshit so it takes weeks to get anywhere with them
I am glad that some of you have found luck with this site. I have not had that luck.
Let me explain what happened to me. I was trying to send a gift to a friend of mine in Ukraine from Texas. If you have never tried this, you will find it is very hard to accomplish. AliExpress has reviews that says you can pay them and they will get it delivered. I spend the time with my friends and put in several orders. My bank called me to verify payment and I agreed. We waited several days with it getting closer to the holidays. Finally I received an email that said they had canceled all of my purchases. “We are sorry to inform you that we have to cancel your order for security reasons. To make sure your transaction is secure, please provide us with documentation by clicking My Appeal for further verification.”
After reading the documentation they were requesting … My drivers license, Social Security Card, and Passport. Next they wanted my Bank statement?
Who does this? I don’t even provide this to the American government. Amazon and eBay do not even request this to sell or buy?
I tried to question this issue. They have no phone number to call. The one email address I have found is for buyers questioning sellers on their site. Not questioning AliExpress bad behavior.
I tried chat and was told that I did not have a choice. I hate to tell them that I always have a choice.

The shipping is disclosed in the description, so it should not be a surprise that it will be a while.
I read as many reviews as I can. If there are a lot of reviews, I put a lot of faith in that seller. Only a few reviews…not so much faith.
Pathetic site and customer service. They need my card details ( Front and back of my Credit card), card statement and id proof. I mean why they need it? Its shocking to see such online retailer is still exist. I feel this site is big time cheater.. beware

Lately I’ve experienced many of my orders through aliexpress sent with China registered mail to my address in Germany have NOT arrived!
The shipping company and seller may given the wrong address, delivered to wrong recipients, stolen or missing or even still in the German Customs, the shipping company just marked them as “successful delivery”!
As aliexpress Platinum Member I received unfair judgement after disputing my orders & feel disadvantaged with losing my money so very often for NOT receiving my orders. Because your Case Management Team do NOT/ can NOT read properly or don’t understand how shipping and Online Shopping should work. I doubt that Aliexpress people have business knowledge or have knowledge in Customer Service!!!
Online shopping should be easy, customers ordered and paid online then paid items should be delivered to the customer and end of story, Everyone is happy!
But Aliexpress expected that Customers should waste their times & nerves finding whereabout their packages & even when they dispute them, Customers are the ones who should provide stupid “valid proof of NOT receiving their packages” and after wasting their times and nerves at the end Aliexpress is taking sides of the sellers!!!

I rather order stuff in Amazon or other online shopping sites even I have to pay double the price but I’m sure that my order will be delivered within 1 week, I can return my order within 4 weeks without paying return mail & it’s the job of the sellers to make sure I receive my order without inconvenient the customers

I want to warn ladies not to buy shoes from sellers on Aliexpress. They only fit 50% of the time . Some of the sellers have tried to send a size smaller if they are out of stock on your size. Makes you furious as they know it will cost you more to return them than they cost . I have had the toes cut out of some, but others I’ve had to donate to the thrift shop. Just stick to buying the clothing as it is fine 95% of the time . Sometimes the fabric is not as pictured, however, and so I can’t give it 100%.
16th Aug 2020, The site is a scam site, don’t purchase from them. After reading other peoples posts, I have experienced the same. I waited about 2 months for a delivery from China, suppose to take 21 days. The tracking numbers are fake, tracking number can never be found. I was lucky that the seller refunded my money but not the whole amount. No buyer protection on the money I have lost. And good luck trying to get in contact with someone at AliExpress, almost impossible. By far one of the worst sites I have dealt with.
I have no idea how AliExpress gets these scores from ‘experts’! It is 45 days since my order and there is no sign of it. When I went on the site to find out what had happened to my order they gave me a tracking code that didn’t work at all. When I tried to open a complaint I was told I couldn’t for another 45 days. So I have to wait three months after placing my order before I can even start a dispute process. What a joke! I then wrote to them via an email address I eventually found, and have never heard back. I think this site is a scam, that has stolen my money. Avoid at all costs!
This seller is” Laudation Official Store” no attempt by seller to deliver. When asked for refund, offered much less than cost. Some sellers are thieves & they are still allowed & supported by Ali Express. They sell (or pretend) EBike batteries. Be warned the tracking numbers are fake. My batteries never left China.The worst part is Ali Express does nothing to help & this company continues to sell on Ali Express.
I bought so many things from Aliexpress. Many things were good but also many of them were of very bad quality.
I ordered 6 pieces of an integrated circuit – delivery was 22 days. The items were correctly labeled but they were obviously not as advertised as detected by failure in a standard application and external measurements referring to a datasheet. I immediately sent a emails to AliExpress using several addresses – no response from any of them. They had charged my credit card the day after I placed my order not waiting for my confirmation of an acceptance of terms. I seems impossible to contact any person using email. They probably had no idea that the vendor had shipped falsified items. But it is obvious that they do not want to respond to my findings or subsequent emails. So, I’m out $111.00 at this point. I had ordered 6 pieces of MC33030P. Any idea how I can get AliExpress to respond?

WARNING Very bad if your item doesn’t arrive they mark it as delivered even after you prove its not been delivered. They then refuse to refund after you prove you have not received it and there reason for not refunding is that parcel was delivered, but you proved 100% it wasn’t delivered. They don’t listen to what you say don’t use them
I LOVE ALIEXPRESS — I ORDER CLOTHING FROM THEM A LOT . GREAT PRICES AND ONLY ONCE DID I HAVE A CRAZY EXPERIENCE . NOT A BAD ONE SO MUCH AS A CRAZY ONE. DID NOT RECEIVE MY ITEM AND COMPLAINED . THEN I GOT 3 OF THE SAME ITEM –ONE PER MONTH FOR 3 MONTHS –HAD TO DONATE SOME TO THE THRIFT SHOP . LOL
My product (ultra thin game monitor, €186) was delivered at local post office and I received invitation to come and pick it up. At arriving at post office, the package appeared to be collected by an unknown person. I contacted PostNL about this. They did internal investigation. They (PostNL.nl customer service team) admitted their fault and sent me this in a report.
I mailed this report (shipping company’s official document) to prove the product lost at start of dispute to Aliexpress. So the document is in the evidence list from the start of the dispute. I am very unhappy with Aliexpess dispute communication. I keep getting requirements for evidence. I keep explaining the report. But I do not get any substantive comments to my uploaded evidence explanations and no substantive comments on given explanations. I ask seller and aliexpress both to show some respect to me as your customer and seriously look at my evidence and answers and give reactions on my evidence explanation answers. Aliexpress does not pay respect me as customer and does not read my information and keep ignoring it.
As seller gives bad performance, like in my case, Aliexpress does not give any constructive help in dispute, which makes Aliexpress very unrelyable. Aliexpress must oblige seller to investigate and report about wrong delivery but failed to do that. I recommend good sellers to speak to Aliexpress because they even loose good reputation through Aliexpress if Aliexpress does not improve customer service.
In the end (6 weeks later) Aliexpress gave me full refund. But Aliexpress did not give any explanation about it’s bad communication.
I purchased 2 LED bathroom sink faucets from Ali for $100+ When on they squeal like a banshee. Ali says it is normal for LED to shriek; it is the voice of the LED. Funny nothing in the advert says get ear plugs to use your faucets. Their offer at settlement–$8. That won’t cover the cost of new, non-screaming faucets or a plumber to try to repair these. Can you say RIP OFF?! My research says this is untrue and is designed to avoid responsibility for crap on sale. DON’T BUY FROM ALI!!!!!
